The parking situation alone sold me — finding a free spot in Budva during summer is basically like winning the lottery.

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to have great locations, but this three-star gem really delivers. You’re literally steps away from the Old Town, which means you can stumble back to your apartment after dinner without dealing with taxis or long walks. The beach is close enough that you’ll hear the waves if you open your windows at night — I mean, what more do you want? During the day, you can grab coffee from one of the local spots and actually feel like you’re part of the neighborhood rather than just passing through.

The Space Itself

The apartments here are what I’d call “pleasantly surprising.” My room was bigger than expected, with this little kitchenette that actually worked well for making morning coffee and storing leftovers from Budva’s generous restaurant portions. The decor isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything’s clean and functional — honestly, that’s all I really need when I’m spending most of my time exploring anyway. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which you’ll definitely appreciate during those sweltering July afternoons.

What Sets It Apart

Here’s the thing about Apartments Savina — it’s not trying to be something it’s not. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping you have a good time in Montenegro, and they’ll give you actual useful tips about where to eat and what to skip. I got some great recommendations for beaches that weren’t completely overrun with tourists, which honestly made my whole trip better. The building stays pretty quiet too, even though you’re right in the middle of everything — I guess the thick walls help with that.

Why Guests Love It

After spending a week here, I totally get why couples rate this place so highly. There’s something romantic about having your own little space in such a beautiful coastal town, plus you’re close enough to everything that you can be spontaneous about dinner plans or evening walks. The value is incredible too — you’re getting prime Budva real estate without paying resort prices. Sure, it’s not fancy, but sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just get the basics absolutely right.

  The host stood out as exceptional, he couldn’t do enough and his attitude to life was an inspiration. The property is located at the southern end of Jaz beach and is all sand, the apartment was clean, and great value for money. We changed our plans and are going back there.

  Location, so close to the beach, great sea view, didn’t feel like we needed to hire sun beds on the beach because we had almost private use of sea view terrace with our own sun bed
