You know what surprised me about Apartments Spas? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but somehow gets all the important stuff right. I mean, sure, it’s technically a 3-star property, but honestly – I’ve stayed in supposed 4-star places that left me way more frustrated.

The whole setup feels more like staying at a really well-organized friend’s apartment than a typical hotel. The units are spacious in that practical way where you can actually spread your stuff out without feeling cramped, and there’s this lived-in comfort that makes you settle in quickly. What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – I’m talking proper sleep, not that city noise filtering through thin windows kind of rest. The spa element isn’t some over-the-top wellness palace, but more like having access to really good facilities when you need to unwind. Actually spent way more time there than I planned because it felt genuinely relaxing, not performative if that makes sense.

Here’s the thing that really tells you about a place – it’s those small details that add up. Check-in was straightforward, no weird policies or surprise fees that make you roll your eyes. The staff actually seemed to know the area well enough to give useful suggestions, not just hand you a generic tourist map. I found myself coming back each evening looking forward to the space, which honestly doesn’t happen that often when I’m traveling. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to blow your mind with flashy amenities, but it delivers on comfort and functionality in a way that leaves you satisfied. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially if you’re planning to actually explore during the day rather than camp out by a pool. Would I stay again? Yeah, definitely. It’s got that reliable quality that’s harder to find than you’d think.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  Amazing view! Great location just a little bit uphill but was not bad at all. Good space as well for just a night or two.

  Host was really nice. The apartment was kept ready for us and the keys were given even before the checkin time.
  
  What could be improved: The location is quite uphill. And having to walk there was bit of a hassle, glad we didn’t wear heels. But it’s all worth it for the views. Waking up with that view was amazing

  It was very spacious and comfortable. Amazing view from the balcony. We are travelling with a car, a bigger one than a regular car, so at first, I was a little scared of the other reviews saying how hard it is to walk up the street and nearly impossible to drive up. Really, it was nothing, more like a regular road in any southern, mountainous region in Europe. Walking up is also not that bad, you might get a little tired, but the walk up is considerably short.

  The apartament is awesome, the rooms are huge and it is very well equipped. The fact that it also has a normal bed in the living room is a great advantage. The view from the balcony is breath-taking, the whole Budva area can be admired from there.
  
  What could be improved: The wifi signal can be improved inside the apartment, it was only available on the living room.
