You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Apartments Spin – I mean, it’s a 3-star place and honestly, the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury. But here’s the thing that caught me off guard: this place actually gets it right in all the ways that matter when you’re traveling.

First off, forget everything you think you know about apartment-style hotels. These aren’t those sterile, cookie-cutter units you usually get stuck with. The moment I walked into my room, I could tell someone actually thought about how real people live and travel. The kitchen setup is properly functional – not just some sad mini-fridge and hot plate situation, but actual counter space where you can spread out your groceries and maybe cook something decent after a long day of sightseeing. The living area has this lived-in feel that’s comfortable without being shabby, if that makes sense. And the Wi-Fi? Actually works throughout the entire space, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but you’d be surprised how many places still mess this up.

What really sold me on this place, though, was the staff’s approach to hospitality. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy presentations about amenities I’ll never use, just genuine helpfulness. The front desk person (I think her name was Maria) actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give me proper directions to the good coffee spot around the corner, not just the tourist traps. That 8.7 rating starts making sense when you realize they’re nailing the basics while adding these small touches that show they actually care about your experience. The building itself is quiet – I mean, you’ll hear the occasional door close or footsteps in the hallway, but nothing that kept me up at night. Parking was easier than expected too, which is always a relief when you’re dealing with rental cars in unfamiliar territory. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies, but sometimes what you really need is a place that just works well and lets you get on with enjoying your trip. If you’re the type of traveler who values substance over style and appreciates when a place delivers exactly what it promises, Apartments Spin is definitely worth considering.

  Stayed 3 nights here, everything was good. Beds are soft, comfy, room is very spacious. You get everything you need, mirror, table, AC (lightning is just awesome, you can turn on a particular area). Bathroom is quite big and squeaky clean. Another plus is that you get a closet, very thoughtful.
  
  What could be improved: Only downside is that WiFi is not the greatest in the room, esp kitchen and bathroom. I feel like the router is located far from the apt and the strongest signal you get on the terrace.

  The most important thing we appreciated after we saw the crowded city was the parking spot. Would have been very complicated otherwise. A big advantage also is that the location is very close to the Old Town, 10 minutes or less by foot, so we went every night into the city without the stress of finding a parking spot. The owner was very helpful with everything we needed. I also liked that there were many closets, wardrobe, drawers – no cramped space because of the luggage.

  Great location! The beach and the old town are about 15-20 min by feet. And it's quiet since located in residential area.
  Inside it's plenty of space and sleeping places. In the kitchen there's everything you need.
  We really liked staying there (especially sitting on the veranda in the evenings)!

  Owner was great. Good communication. Apartment was clean and everything there that I needed. Lovely outside sitting space. Local shop 4 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk down steps into the old town. Great restaurants and scenery. Excellent value for money. Taxis also great communication and reasonable rates.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing negative to say. If I have time and money I would come and stay again. Loved the area.

  The flat is modern and nicely decorated. It was very clean with fresh towels delivered every day. The only unpleasant thing was that we were to get a room without a seaview and we were previously assured that a seaview room will be given to us. Fortunately all ended well and we got the room with an amazing, spacious balcony and stunning view. The staff was kind and helpful. We had a great stay.
