The apartments are properly equipped too, not just some mini-fridge and a hotplate situation. I’m talking actual kitchens where you can cook something decent, which is clutch when you realize eating out every meal in Budva during peak season will demolish your budget. The air conditioning actually works (trust me, you’ll need it in July and August), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t give up the moment more than two people try to use it.

What I really appreciated was how the whole setup feels more like staying in someone’s neighborhood than being stuck in a tourist bubble. There’s a little market just down the street where locals actually shop, and you’ll pass the same coffee shop regulars every morning – that’s something you miss when you’re staying right in the thick of things near Slovenska Beach. The walk to the main action takes maybe 15 minutes, or you can catch one of those local buses that cost next to nothing. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven around Budva in summer will tell you is basically a miracle. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you settle in – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want after a long day exploring those medieval walls or lounging on Mogren Beach. Plus, the value is honestly hard to beat for a 4-star place this close to everything.
