Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Apartments Vanja, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But sometimes you stumble onto something that just gets everything right, you know? This place has somehow managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling like a proper apartment where you can actually live for a few days and still getting the service you want when you’re traveling.

The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. I mean, we’re not talking about fancy marble lobbies or anything like that, but everything feels intentional – like the owner actually stayed in these rooms and thought “okay, what would drive me crazy after three days?” The kitchenettes are properly equipped (and I mean actually equipped, not just a hot plate and a prayer), the beds are surprisingly comfortable, and honestly, the Wi-Fi is better than what I have at home. What really got me was the little touches – good coffee in the welcome basket, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough electrical outlets that you’re not constantly unplugging things to charge your phone. You can tell they’ve hosted enough travelers to understand what matters.

The location works really well too, though you’ll want to get your bearings first day or two. It’s one of those spots where you’re close enough to everything without being right in the middle of tourist chaos, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate when you’re trying to sleep. Parking isn’t terrible if you’re driving, though I’d recommend asking them about the best spots when you check in because there are definitely some local tricks. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see actual residents going about their day, plus a few solid local spots for coffee and groceries within walking distance. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering around waiting for someone to show up.

Here’s what really impressed me: that 9.9 rating isn’t inflated. I’ve stayed at places with half the personality charging twice as much, and honestly, Apartments Vanja just does the fundamentals really well. Is it perfect? Well, the shower pressure could be stronger, and if you’re someone who needs 24-hour front desk service, this might not be your thing. But for the vast majority of travelers who want a clean, comfortable base with enough space to spread out and actually relax, this place delivers. I actually extended my stay by two nights, which should tell you something.

  This is definitely place where I’m going to be back always, such a nice friendly renting person and very polite. Very nice for the communication even when I came late 11 PM. She was really welcoming. apartment is really clean and very comfy. I have everything inside what I need. Thank you very much, Vanja for everything , What did you do for me. We will be back again.   Meni je bilo jako bitno da je cistoca na zavidnom nivou, to sam i dobio cak i vise od toga. Kuhinja sjajna sve jako moderno i sve sto vam je potrebno. Terasa sjajna, suncana za jutarnju kafu extra. Jedva cekam sledece leto, NEMENJAM.

  Apartamento completo, limpo, cheiroso, só acho que 1 sofá cama deveria estar na sala ao invés do quarto, e o banheiro poderia ter um tapete ou algo para não escorregar dentro da banheira, uma pessoa do nosso grupo até Machucou por isto. Mas somente isto, o restante é perfeito
