I mean, with an 8.7 rating, I was expecting good things, but honestly – apartment-style hotels can be hit or miss, and this one definitely hits more than it misses.

The apartments themselves are actually spacious, which is refreshing when you’ve been cramming yourself into standard hotel rooms all trip. There’s this lived-in feeling that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax, not just crash for the night. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either – I’m talking full-sized fridges, decent cookware, the works. Perfect if you’re the type who gets tired of eating out every single meal or if you’ve got kids who insist on their usual breakfast routine. The balconies (well, most units have them) give you that little outdoor space that makes morning coffee feel like a proper ritual instead of a rushed caffeine grab.

What really sells me on this place is how the staff runs things. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – none of that “your room isn’t ready yet” dance you get at bigger hotels. They clearly know their property inside and out, and I got the sense they actually care about whether you’re comfortable. The neighborhood itself has this quiet residential vibe that I wasn’t expecting. You’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your door, but you’re not stranded either. Parking was straightforward too, which – let’s be honest – can make or break a trip when you’re driving.

The three-star rating might make you think “budget compromise,” but honestly, it feels more elevated than that suggests. Sure, you’re not getting marble bathrooms and Egyptian cotton sheets, but everything works well and feels clean and thoughtfully maintained. I noticed little touches that show someone’s paying attention – decent water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The kind of stuff that matters when you’re trying to sleep off a long day of sightseeing.

If I’m being completely honest, it’s not the flashiest place you’ll ever stay, but that’s sort of the point. Vila Anastasia feels like temporary home base rather than just accommodation, and there’s something really appealing about that when you’re traveling. Whether you’re planning a longer stay or just want more space to spread out for a few nights, this place delivers on comfort without the inflated prices you’d pay for similar space in a traditional hotel.

  Great comfy bed, clean and supplied room. You will have everything you need like iron, hairdryer, kettle.. Kitchen is shared.

  I have travelled to alot of places but THIS was just wonderful. Wonderful stuff who are so kind and polite, everything was clean, smelled good, fantastic private balcony, close to the mainstreet and beach is 10 min away by walking, i had all access to make my own food and had my own fridge. They made me feel very welcome and at home!
