You know what caught me off guard about Vila Galileo? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I first pulled up, I was expecting some stuffy boutique place, but it’s actually these really comfortable apartment-style rooms that feel more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place than a typical hotel. The building itself is pretty understated from the outside, which honestly works in its favor because you’re not dealing with tour groups or that weird hotel lobby energy where everyone’s whispering.

The apartments themselves are what really sold me on this place. Each one’s got a proper kitchenette – not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but actual counter space where you can spread out and make real breakfast if you want to. The beds are surprisingly good too, and I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses when I travel. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even with other guests around. The walls must be decent because I never had that thing where you’re hearing conversations or TVs from next door at weird hours. Honestly, the whole setup just feels more grown-up than your average three-star spot. You get your own space to decompress without someone knocking on your door asking if you need extra towels every few hours.

The staff here actually knows what they’re doing, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given at this price point. Check-in was smooth, they gave me solid recommendations for places nearby (and I mean specific suggestions, not just “there are many wonderful restaurants in the area”), and when I had a question about extending my stay, they sorted it out in like two minutes. The cleaning schedule is reasonable too – they’re not banging around at 8 AM, but your place stays fresh without you having to think about it. I’d definitely come back, especially for longer trips where you want that apartment vibe but with someone else handling the logistics. It’s one of those places where the 9.2 rating actually makes sense once you’ve been there a few days.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  We really enjoyed our staying at Villa Galileo. The owner was very welcoming and kind. He informed us about best places to hang out and to eat in Budva. Also the bed was extremely comfy. The room and the all building was very clean.We looking forward to comeback

  Dragana and Nikola were incredible hosts, kind and very helpful! The place is a short walk to the waterfront/restaurant area (15 minutes) and a shopping market close by. The place was very clean.

  I am incredibly satisfied with my booking. It was one of the few remaining options on the site, and I’m glad I chose to stay here. The room was impeccably clean, with enough space for two people. All the appliances worked perfectly. The location was very convenient, close to great beaches and within walking distance of the city. There’s a large store nearby as well. The host was very responsive and a pleasant, accommodating our early check-in. 10 out of 10, we will definitely come back!

  The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, the bed is comfortable. The owners are so nice, very friendly and welcoming people, they care a lot about their guests and are super engaged. Helped us a lot to get localized. A great example of hospitality!!!
