Hotel Description
So I stumbled across Apartments Villa Čučuk during one of those late-night booking sessions where you’re scrolling endlessly through options, and honestly? Best accidental find ever. The place sits on Ul. Stevena Štiljanovića – which sounds intimidating to pronounce but the locals just call it “that quiet street behind the main chaos.” And that’s exactly what you want in Budva, trust me.
The thing about this place is that it gets the balance right, you know? You’re close enough to walk to Budva’s Old Town (maybe 8-10 minutes if you don’t get distracted by the gelato places), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the 2 AM party crowds stumbling around. The apartments themselves are what I’d call “actually livable” – not those sterile hotel boxes where you can’t figure out how to work the shower. Everything just… works. The kitchens have real plates, not plastic tourist stuff, and there’s actually space to spread out your things without everything ending up on the floor.
What really sold me on Villa Čučuk was how the staff treated the place like it mattered to them. Check-in was this refreshingly normal conversation – no scripted “welcome to our establishment” nonsense. They told me which grocery store nearby stays open latest (crucial information, by the way), and mentioned that the best time to hit the beaches is before 10 AM or after 4 PM when the tour groups thin out. That 9.7 rating isn’t just people being generous – it’s because places like this remember that travelers are actual humans with actual needs.
The location thing is worth mentioning because Budva can be tricky. Stay too close to the marina and you’ll hear boat engines at dawn. Too far up the hills and you’re hiking everywhere in 35-degree heat. Villa Čučuk found that sweet spot where you can walk to everything that matters but still get some peace. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s Montenegro, not a monastery – but evenings get surprisingly quiet. There’s parking too, which anyone who’s driven in Budva will tell you is basically like finding treasure.
Look, Montenegro’s having a moment right now, and Budva especially gets packed during summer months. But staying at places like Villa Čučuk instead of those massive resort complexes actually makes the whole experience better. You end up feeling more like you’re visiting a place rather than being processed through it. The apartments have that lived-in comfort that makes you want to grab some local wine and actually relax instead of rushing around checking things off a list. Plus, when you’re spending your days exploring Kotor Bay or hiking up to those ridiculous viewpoints everyone posts on Instagram, having a proper place to decompress becomes pretty essential.
It’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard – which, honestly, is exactly what you want when you’re trying to figure out why everyone keeps raving about this little stretch of the Adriatic.
Budva hotels provide guests with luxurious accommodations in Montenegro’s premier coastal destination, known for its crystal-clear waters and medieval architecture.

Fabulous! – Louise from United Kingdom – July 30, 2025 (10/10)
Stunning views, a little oasis of calm away from the buzz of Budva. The apartments were spacious, clean and well equipped. The host Vladimir was friendly, helpful and attentive. These are some of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Thank you 🤩
What could be improved: The location up a hill might be a challenge for some. We didn’t hire a car so carrying shopping etc in the heat was hard work, but it was worth it for the views.Fantastic!!! – Anna from Sweden – July 6, 2025 (10/10)
Fantastic setting, view and place!! We really enjoyed our stay, perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Nice pool area for hanging around and you can easily reach nice beaches with car.

Wonderful Villa with fantastic views and fantastic host – Amanda from United Kingdom – June 20, 2025 (9/10)
Dimitri is a fantastic host, he does everything he can to make your stay as good as possible, definitely recommend! The villa is also amazing, the room as everything you need, and the view is fantastic! The only thing I would highlight is that the villa is on the way up to a mountain, so I'd recommend you to book a car for your stay. You can walk up and down the hill as well (as we did), but it can get a bit tiring. Also, the local buses are available just down the road, but it's hard to know the exact timings; you basically just need to go down there and wait for the next bus. Tickets are cheap, though and the ride to the centre is quite quick, so if you're on a budget that works fairly well too! Taxi's ends up being quite expensive, the day rate is 10 Euros but the night rate is around 20-25 Euros, so it makes more sense to just rent a car. My other note is that our bathroom was quite dark and had one small mirror, so we couldn't really do our makeup in there properly, but we asked Dimitri for an extra mirror, which he happily provided! (We were two girls trying to do our makeup at the same time lol) A wonderful stay, though all in all, and I definitely recommend!

The property was clean, and the people were really good.
What could be improved: There was nothing to not like about the property. The only factor that I would like would have to be better, would be the internet speed.Lovely budva apartment – Heidi from United Kingdom – October 5, 2024 (10/10)
Spacious apartment with lovely views over Budva, lovely pool and very convenient for getting to all the spots on the Adriatic coast.
Beautiful place and quite – Angela from United Kingdom – October 4, 2024 (10/10)
I had a great stay at the villa, it was so beautiful with fabulous views. I was made to feel very welcome and safe. The swimming pool was amazing and I was allowed to swim in the evening which was great after an evening out.
The hosts father Krsto was so wonderful he was a true gentleman. My last evening I enjoyed some wine and food with other guests and Krsto. I would definitely come back.
What could be improved: The only thing I would say is the hill up to the property which is the last on the road. I did walk it everyday though which has kept me fit! Other guests where sensible and got a taxi!Exceptional – Erika from United Kingdom – September 30, 2024 (10/10)
One of my best stays ever! Great apartment, very specious, lovely pool, beautiful view. Lovely restaurants near by serving great food (Porat, Meat & Burger). Beautiful Kamenovo Beach (a bit of walking but it wasn’t a problem for us). The villa is great to stay with family or friends. Vladimir was always available for everything we needed. He organised private transfer from and to the airport. Thank you very much! It was a great pleasure staying at your villa! Highly recommend to everyone.
What could be improved: A bit of walk uphill, but that was totally fine with us. We like hiking and we had a family member staying with us who came by car so it wasn’t a problem to us.
