You know what struck me first about Villa Petranović? It’s one of those places that actually feels like someone’s home – because, well, it basically is. The Petranović family runs these apartments with the kind of attention you’d give your own place, and honestly, that 9.7 rating isn’t just some fluke. I mean, you don’t hit numbers like that without doing something seriously right.

The apartments themselves are spacious in that old-European way – thick walls, high ceilings, and windows that actually open wide (revolutionary concept, I know). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re not dealing with paper-thin walls or hearing every conversation from the hallway. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer, but actual cooking space if you want to grab some local ingredients from the morning market. The family keeps everything immaculately clean, and I noticed they use these really nice linens that feel substantial, not like the scratchy stuff you sometimes get at budget places.

Mrs. Petranović – or maybe it was her daughter, the family kind of runs everything together – gave me tips about which bakery opens earliest (crucial information, trust me) and warned me about the construction happening two streets over that might be noisy around 7 AM. That’s the kind of local intel you just don’t get from chain hotels. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that corporate rigmarole, just “here’s your key, here’s how the shower works, call if you need anything.” They’ve got this little courtyard area where you can sit with morning coffee, and it catches the sun perfectly around 8 AM – I ended up spending way more time there than I planned. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (another small miracle), and there’s decent water pressure in the showers, which honestly makes or breaks a place for me. It’s not fancy in a marble-and-gold kind of way, but it’s comfortable in all the ways that matter when you’re trying to feel human after a long travel day.

  The host family was lovely. We communicated in English with the daughter via messages and phone calls. She was really polite and friendly. Her mother was the one who lived in the house, and although she hardly speaks any English, she had a great way of making herself understood. She was super nice and took good care of us. She also recommended a nearby restaurant, which served local food. The room had air con, which is necessary for those hot summer days. It also had a small kitchen. The shower was good. The double bed was comfortable. The area was quiet at night. There were tables and chairs in the outside area that we could use, and the mother hung up some type of mosquito repellent and lights for us in the evening.

  We have been here for a whole week, place absolutely stunning, very close to the beach, restaurants.
  We have amazing time,
  Owner of this place will treat you like a part of her family, more then happy to help you with anything, plan a trip or even bring you some ice cream on a hot day.

  Could not recommend this place more! It is so beautiful, quiet and clean, and Vjera is the best host you could ask for. She instantly made us feel at home, and we left there feeling as if we had spent a week visiting a loved one. The apartments are also very private, each with their own outdoor space, and very close to a supermarket and a variety of great food places and shops. The closest beach is only a 3-minute walk from the accommodation, and it is one of the best beaches we went to in Budva. I understand why Vjera has guests that have been staying with her for 15 years – we had the best time!

  We had such a lovely stay at Villa Petranovic. The apartment was so comfortable and perfect for our needs. We were looked after brilliantly by the owner who couldn’t do enough to help us – even bought us ice creams in the evening as the weather was so hot! We would recommend these apartments to anyone want to stay in Budva! The air conditioning was brilliant given it was close to 40c every day. There is a lovely bakery 1 minute from the apartments and a supermarket right next door. A 5 minute walk to the beach, or to the bus stop if you want to try some of the other lovely beaches. We even had a tortoise for company in the garden! It was perfect!

  L’appartamento è carino e con tutto quello che può servire per un soggiorno.
  La posizione è ottima, sia per la spiaggia di Budva che per spostarsi al di fuori.
  Si trova in una via riservata e tranquilla.
  Ciò che ci è più entrato nel cuore è però l’ospitalità delle proprietarie di casa che oltre ad averci accolto a braccia aperte e averci dato raccomandazioni e consigli, ci hanno anche aiutato quando abbiamo avuto un problema con la macchina. Si sono mosse in prima persona trovandoci un meccanico fidato accompagnandoci e aiutandoci con la lingua.
  Quando torneremo in Montenegro loro sicuramente saranno una tappa fissa!!!

  El apartamento está muy limpio, la casa es muy bonita y tiene un jardín precioso. La ubicación es muy tranquila, se puede descansar bien. Los propietarios son un matrimonio encantador, siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades. Limpieza excelente y todo lo necesario en el apartamento para una estancia agradable.
