Apia Residence
You know what?
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Apia Residence – honestly, the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury. But this place completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. It’s one of those hotels where you can tell someone actually thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos.
The thing that struck me immediately was how quiet it is, especially considering it’s still close enough to everything that matters. I mean, you’re not stuck in some isolated compound, but you also won’t have street noise keeping you up at night. The lobby has this really comfortable, lived-in feeling – not stuffy like some four-star places try to be. Check-in was refreshingly smooth too, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re tired from traveling. The staff actually seem to know what they’re doing rather than just going through motions, and they had genuine recommendations for local spots (not just the touristy ones everyone suggests).
What really sold me on this place, though, is how they handle the details. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around, and the beds are actually comfortable – I slept better here than I have at hotels twice the price. The bathrooms have proper water pressure, which you’d think would be standard but trust me, it’s not. There’s decent storage space for your stuff, and the air conditioning works without sounding like a freight train. I also appreciated that they provide bottled water without making a big deal about it, and the WiFi reaches everywhere without cutting out constantly. Small things, maybe, but they add up when you’re staying somewhere for more than just one night. The only minor thing I’d change is the lighting in the rooms – it’s a bit dim for reading, though that might just be me being picky. With a 9.4 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I totally get why people keep coming back. It’s the kind of place where everything just works the way it should, without any unnecessary fuss or pretension.
Hotels near me in Budva offer convenient access to the beach promenade, where guests can easily walk to ancient city walls, marina, and vibrant nightlife venues.

Clean and great location
What could be improved: Nothing
Amazing apartment, clean, well equipped, very responsive staff, the best location in Budva. We traveled in winter and it was really warm and pleasant to stay there !
Highly recommended!
very friendly reception, great help to find parking space
Great location, very clean and comfortable. They offer parking for the car, we loved it !
Really good location by old town. We got the penthouse for a reasonable amount of money (especially compared to what we got for more money in Kotor at a private rental). Staff was very nice, the apartment was nice and clean, can't complain
What could be improved: The underground garage is not for the faint hearted,, barely any space to maneuver. Even the entrance is narrow, with some wall sticking out so right after getting through the gate you need to turn left. Literally centimeters to spare. Fortunately we had a bigger SUV car with censors all around, which helped, but someone with a bigger car but no censors or 360 camera...well,good luck 🤣
Very central.
What could be improved: Clean and very friendly owners who couldn’t do enough for you.
Great location, close to old town and beaches without letting the noise through - was the quietest place we've stayed in Budva! Well equipped apartment.
Very big apartments, especially for those with families. A very convenient location with just a short walk to the center of Budva.
What could be improved: The parking is very tight in the private garage. But, you can park outside for €15 a day.
