Apt “Budva” with Sea View and Garage Parking

So I stumbled across this apartment in Budva last summer, and honestly? It completely changed how I think about staying in Montenegro’s busiest coastal town. The place is called Apt “Budva” with Sea View and Garage Parking – yeah, the name’s pretty straightforward, but that’s actually refreshing when you’re dealing with all those overly fancy hotel titles that promise everything and deliver meh.

First thing that hit me was the location on Filipa Kovačevića street. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Old Town walls, but here’s the kicker – you’re just far enough up the hill that you escape most of the chaos that turns central Budva into a sweaty mess during peak season. The sea view they promise? It’s legit. Not some tiny sliver you have to crane your neck to see, but an actual panoramic spread of the Adriatic that looks especially stunning around sunset (trust me, grab some local wine and park yourself on that balcony around 7 PM). The garage parking situation is honestly worth mentioning because – and this is something only people who’ve driven in Budva during July know – finding a parking spot down by the marina is like winning a small lottery. Here, you just pull in, park, and forget about it.

What really sold me on this place was how it manages to feel both local and comfortable. The apartment itself has that lived-in quality where everything actually works (the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter, the shower has proper pressure, the wifi doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes). You know what I appreciated most? The little details that show someone actually cares about this place – decent coffee in the kitchen, extra towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, and windows that open wide enough to catch those evening breezes that drift up from the water. The neighborhood has this great mix where you’ll hear some local kids playing football in the street, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you up at night. Actually, the whole area gets pretty peaceful after 10 PM, which is rare for Budva during summer months. Walking down to the Old Town takes you past this tiny bakery (I think it’s just called “Pekara” – very original) where locals grab their morning burek, and there’s something satisfying about following that same route every day, feeling less like a tourist and more like… well, someone who just happens to live near one of the most beautiful medieval towns on the Adriatic coast.
