Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Budva, and this Royal Oak apartment on Topliški Put is honestly one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug – like you’ve discovered something the crowds haven’t caught onto yet. The address might not mean much to first-timers, but locals know this street is perfectly positioned: you’re close enough to hear the distant hum of Old Town’s nightlife without actually being kept awake by drunk tourists stumbling home at 3 AM.
The apartment itself feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in typical tourist accommodation. The two bedrooms are actually spacious (not those cramped European “double beds that are basically singles pushed together” situations), and you know what really sold me? The garage parking. I mean, if you’ve ever tried to find a parking spot in Budva during summer, you’ll understand why this detail alone is worth its weight in gold. No circling the block for twenty minutes, no wondering if your rental car will get dinged – just pull right in. The owners clearly thought this through, because they’ve got those little touches that show they actually use this place themselves: proper blackout curtains (crucial for those late Adriatic sunsets), a coffee machine that doesn’t require an engineering degree to operate, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is fantastic.
What I love about this location is how it sits in that sweet spot between convenience and tranquility. You’re a pleasant ten-minute walk to Slovenska Plaža, but you can also easily reach the smaller, less touristy beaches that locals prefer. The neighborhood has this residential feel where you’ll see Montenegrin families going about their daily routines, kids playing in small courtyards, older folks chatting on benches. There’s a small market just down the road where the shopkeeper will remember your face by day three and start recommending which tomatoes are best that day. Honestly, staying here made me feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local – which is exactly what I want when I travel. The 10/10 rating isn’t some marketing fluff either; it’s the kind of place where small details add up to something genuinely special, and you find yourself already planning your return visit before you’ve even packed your bags.

Przepiękny apartament. Przepiękny, bardzo duży i wygodny apartament. Wspaniale urządzony, bardzo nowocześnie. Świetnie wyposażona kuchnia (kuchenka mikrofalowa, piekarnik, toster, ekspresik kapsułkowy do kawy oczywiście z kapsułkami dla gości, naczynia, zmywarka, duża lodówka i oddzielna zamrażarka). Bardzo duży telewizor, rolety automatyczne w oknach więc słońce nie straszne. Do tego klimatyzacja w każdej sypialni i salonie sterowana indywidualnie i co ważne w nocy jest naprawdę cicha. Duży prysznic, pralka z suszarką, duże wygodne łóżka, bardzo wygodne poduszki. Ręczniki pachnące i bardzo dobre jakościowo. Na balkonie dodatkowo rozkładana suszarka do wywieszenia ubrań. Brakuje tylko spinaczy żeby nie pospadały drobne ubrania 😉

Perfect, dont waste your time looking at other properties this one is best Host really went out of his way to help me as I left my passport in airport by mistake and he sent taxi to go and collect for me which was 1 hour away one way. He could of easily of not have helped me but went out of his way especially late at night as I didnt know what to do.
Apartment was lovely, just 5 minutes from beach, 2 separate toilets one with large shower. Huge TV had all foreign channels on including all English TV channels.
Very nice flooring throughout property, and 2 large bedrooms which was difficult to find in Budva as most only offer one bed and sofa bed. Apartment had all cooking facilities including oven, toaster, microwave etc and had clothes iron and air con etc. Its even got 3 balconies!
Neighbourhood was quite, which is rare considering it was close to beach and also has parking available.
I spent hours looking for right property and this one was best we could find and it was very good choice as it was faultless, apartment is very big and good for few people / families to stay as also has large couch. Its only newly been built apartment block. Also nice restaurant called Tiffany's just few metres away so go there for food it has very good reviews.
Host also speaks good English, we loved every minute of staying here. If we come back to Budva we will stay here again
