It’s actually one of those rare finds in Budva where you get proper parking without having to mortgage your firstborn – and honestly, if you’ve ever tried driving around Budva’s old town during summer, you’ll understand why that’s basically worth its weight in gold. The apartment sits on Žrtava Fašizma street, which sounds intimidating but it’s actually this quiet residential area that’s maybe a 7-8 minute walk from all the beach chaos. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the distant hum of nightlife, but far enough that you can actually sleep without earplugs.

The second-floor setup works perfectly because you get these little glimpses of the Adriatic between buildings – nothing spectacular, but those morning coffee moments hit different when you can see a sliver of that impossibly blue water. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in rather than sterile hotel-ish, which I actually prefer. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to hit the local market (there’s this fantastic one near Slovenska Plaža where the tomatoes are ridiculous), and the whole place has that Montenegrin approach to hospitality where everything just… works. The parking spot is tucked behind the building in this little courtyard area – tight squeeze if you’re driving something massive, but perfectly fine for normal cars. What I really appreciated was how the owners clearly understand what travelers actually need: decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, proper hot water pressure, and – this is key – blackout curtains that actually block the light because Budva summers start bright and early.

Here’s the thing about this location that took me a couple days to fully appreciate – you’re positioned perfectly between the tourist madness and real Montenegrin life. Walk one direction and you hit Mogren Beach (honestly better than the main beach, fewer crowds), walk the other and you’re in neighborhoods where locals actually live and work. The building’s got that slightly weathered Balkan charm without being run-down, and the second floor means you avoid most street noise but don’t have to haul luggage up three flights. During peak season, this area stays surprisingly calm – I think because it’s just residential enough that the party crowds head elsewhere. If you’re someone who wants to experience Budva without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble, this setup is pretty much perfect. Plus, and I can’t stress this enough, having guaranteed parking in Budva is like having a superpower – you’ll spend your days exploring instead of circling blocks looking for a spot.
