You know what surprised me about Azzuro apartments in Budva? The place actually feels like someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than just another cookie-cutter rental. I mean, sure, it’s got that four-star polish you’d expect, but there’s something genuinely comfortable about walking into these apartments that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile.

The thing is, Budva can be absolutely mental during peak season – I’m talking packed beaches, restaurant queues that stretch forever, and that constant hum of tourists trying to figure out where they’re going. But honestly, Azzuro manages to feel like a proper retreat from all that chaos. The apartments themselves are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase, and the kitchens are actually functional (novel concept, right?). I particularly loved that they’ve got proper coffee makers – not those sad little pod things that taste like disappointment. The air conditioning works brilliantly too, which you’ll definitely appreciate when those Mediterranean summers hit and the whole coast turns into an oven.

What really sets this place apart though is how it sits in Budva’s landscape. You’re close enough to wander down to the Old Town when you want that medieval fortress vibe and bustling nightlife, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the late-night party crowd stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The beaches are totally doable on foot – maybe a 10-minute walk depending on which stretch of coastline you’re aiming for. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in Budva (let’s be honest, it’s a nightmare most places along the coast), but they’ve sorted that out reasonably well. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense when you actually stay here – it’s that sweet spot where everything works properly, the staff knows what they’re doing, and you don’t feel like you’re paying for a bunch of fancy amenities you’ll never use. I mean, sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable place with reliable WiFi and a view that doesn’t make you want to immediately book somewhere else, you know? Azzuro delivers on that front without any pretentious nonsense.

  We loved everything about this suite: service, location. We asked the host to check out an hour later and he was totally fine with it. Also guys did registration for us. Suite was clean, with two balconies, there was enough space and furniture for three people. Kitchen was also equiped nicely. Clean bedwear and towels, comfy beds. Awesome variant for short or even long stay. I'll easily recommend this hotel to my friends.

  Absolutely worth it. The place is really close to the beach, and the room that we had came with a big balcony as well. The view from the room is amazing !!!!

  What could be improved: unfortunately they don’t accept credit cards unlike stated in booking.com, they also couldn’t break a hundred euro bill. Very difficult in general to find a place who would.

  The room was clean and the air-conditioner worked well. Nice balcony to sit out on.
  
  What could be improved: There was no wifi on the top floor, even though there was a router. The owner seemed surprised as they've never had a comment on the wifi before, but even sitting in the ground floor, there are networks to join from their property, but it says "connected without internet". Property said they'd look into it but didn't.
  Cleaners left our balcony door wide open after being in there. Not very safe with our belongings as the balcony's are joined.
