So here’s the thing about this beachfront apartment in Becici – it’s actually in one of those spots that locals have been quietly enjoying while tourists crowd into Budva’s Old Town. I mean, you’re literally on Obala street, which runs right along the water, and honestly? The view from apartment 5 makes you understand why Montenegrins are so proud of their coastline.

The setup is pretty straightforward – it’s a 3-star place, nothing fancy, but you know what really matters here? You can roll out of bed and be on Becici beach in about thirty seconds. And Becici beach, well… it’s this gorgeous stretch of sand that somehow stays less chaotic than the main Budva beaches, even in July and August when half of Serbia seems to descend on the coast. The apartment itself has that lived-in feel that’s way better than some sterile hotel room – you’ve got a proper kitchen (which is clutch because eating out every meal in Montenegro adds up fast), and the balcony situation is solid. You’ll probably spend most of your evening hours out there with a Nikšićko beer, watching the sunset paint the Adriatic all these impossible shades of orange.

What I really appreciate about this location is how it connects you to the local rhythm. Rafilovici is basically Becici’s quieter neighbor – think morning coffee at family-run cafés where the owner’s grandmother might wander over to chat in broken English mixed with enthusiastic hand gestures. The 7.8 rating feels about right, actually. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but the fundamentals are there, and you’re genuinely experiencing how people live along this coast rather than being tucked away in some resort bubble. Walking into Budva proper takes maybe fifteen minutes along the coastal path (gorgeous walk, by the way), or you can catch one of those local buses that seem to run on their own mysterious schedule. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season – just so you know – but honestly, once you’re settled in, you might not want to drive much anyway. The whole Becici-Budva stretch is perfect for just wandering, and you’ll stumble across little beach bars and seafood spots that aren’t in any guidebook. The apartment gets a bit of road noise from the coastal road, but it’s that gentle Mediterranean traffic sound, not harsh city noise, and it fades into white noise pretty quickly. Plus, falling asleep to the sound of waves hitting the shore below? That’s the real amenity here.

  The apartment was spacious enough, it was advertised as a 65 square meter apartment, which should be correct. It had two separate bedrooms, which provided necessary privacy for all of us, a functional and decent kitchenette, with a connected dining/living area, and a decent bathroom with a standing tub. We did get a different apartment from the one pictured on the Booking.com listing, but surprisingly, it was better than expected, with newer and more modern furniture (Apartman 12 on the second floor).
  The beds were a bit soft but decently comfortable and there was enough storage space in the actual bedrooms. Towels and bed sheets were provided in the closets, as well as some other cleaning tools for keeping the apartment tidy.
  The location is what sells the apartment, in my opinion, as it is situated on the beachfront as advertised. All balconies have a fantastic aerial view of the small marina in front of Monaco, as well as multiple beaches that are only 2 minutes away from the apartment.
  The actual location is peaceful and great for families with children and people who enjoy a more relaxed vacation. There are 20+ restaurants in the 200m radius, multiple gift shops, a couple of supermarkets and even a fantastic bakery and gyros place nearby.
  The owner was pretty helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Even though the apartment was solid, there were some issues that should be addressed:
  – The key was difficult to turn as the keyhole in our front door was pretty busted
  – the balcony in the bedroom in the back couldn't be closed at all, because the door wasn't installed properly initially, so we had to prop the door with a nightstand, in order to keep it shut
  – The balcony in the front bedroom (main balcony) couldn't be opened all the way, as the left side of the door was hammered shut
  – There was no WiFi in the apartment, despite it being advertised as an apartment with WiFi (which made things difficult at first as we were here on a working holiday and needed to buy additional internet
  – Since there was no Internet, our TV wasn't working as well (no aerial antenna, and no wired, nor wireless access on TV)
  – For the price, the actual furniture could be updated and the rugs/bathroom mats are screaming to be replaced, as they look pretty awful

  Apartamentul este ca in poze, aerul conditionat face fata celor 3 camere ( sunt doua), bucataria este utilata. Privelistea de pe balcon este minunata

  Es wahr sehr schön, von der Wohnung zum Strand wahren es nur ein paar Meter alles wahr in der Nähe man braucht kein Auto. Die Restaurants wahren sehr günstig, die strandliegen wahren auch günstig. Das einzige was ich bemängeln muss ist die Klimaanlage sie wahr sehr laut und alt und die Betten nicht so gemütlich, aber am sonsten wahr es fantastisch. Nächstes Jahr wollen wir wieder hinfahren.
