Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of beachfront places over the years, and honestly? The Beachfront Fontana 20 caught me completely off guard. You know how sometimes a hotel’s name tells you everything you need to know, but then the actual experience is totally different? Well, this wasn’t one of those times – this place delivers exactly what it promises, just way better than I expected.

The moment you walk through those doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about what travelers want. I mean, the lobby doesn’t try too hard with over-the-top chandeliers or marble everywhere – it’s got this relaxed elegance that makes you feel like you can breathe. The 4-star rating is spot on, but honestly, it punches above its weight class. That 9.5 rating they’ve got? Yeah, I get it now. The staff doesn’t hover, but they’re there when you need them, and they actually seem to enjoy their jobs (which, let’s be real, makes all the difference when you’re trying to sort out dinner reservations or figure out the best time to hit the beach).

What really got me was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic beachfront vibe without falling into tourist trap territory. The rooms – and I’m being totally honest here – are thoughtfully designed with these little touches that show someone was paying attention. Good lighting for actually reading, outlets where you need them, and the kind of shower pressure that makes you want to extend your stay just for the morning routine. The sound of the waves is constant but not overwhelming, which is this perfect sweet spot that a lot of coastal hotels completely mess up. You’ll sleep well, but you’ll also wake up excited to step outside. And here’s something nobody tells you about beachfront properties – the salt air can make everything feel sticky after a few days, but they’ve got the ventilation figured out in a way that keeps everything fresh. It’s those kinds of behind-the-scenes details that separate the places you’d actually recommend to friends from the ones you’d just tolerate for a weekend.

  Our stay in this apartment in Budva was a pleasant experience. Situated in the city center, it offered a convenient location, close to popular attractions and local eateries.
  
  The apartment itself was clean and decently furnished, offering a functional space for our stay. The rooms were well-maintained, and the inclusion of essential modern appliances was appreciated. Notably, the view from the balcony was quite charming.
  
  The host was professional and very friendly, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. They were also kind enough to share some local insights, which helped us navigate the city a little better.

  The host was super friendly and welcoming. She showed us around and provided us with all information about facilities and places of interest nearby. The flat itself is modern, cosy and clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

  the appartment was super nice and clean, in the very center of Budva. Beach is 2 minutes walk and there are also many nice coffee places and restaurants around the appartment. it is comfortable and highly reccomended.
  We travelled with a dog and there was even little bowl with water and cookies for the dog 🙂
