The hotel sits right there on the beach strip, so you can practically roll out of bed and onto the sand. I mean, try doing that at those fancy places up in Budva’s old town – you’ll be hiking down steep streets with your beach gear like a pack mule.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to care about helping you figure out the area. The front desk guy – I think his name was Marko – didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map. He marked up specific spots along the coastal path toward Budva, told me which beach bars have the best seafood (skip the touristy ones right by the main road), and even warned me about the parking situation during peak season. Speaking of which, they’ve got their own parking area, which is clutch because finding a spot anywhere along this coastline in July or August is basically impossible. The rooms themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but the air conditioning works properly and the balcony views are legitimately spectacular if you get one facing the water. Sure, you might hear some noise from the beach clubs on weekend nights, but honestly, that’s part of the Montenegro coast experience. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me because this place delivers on the fundamentals without trying to be something it’s not.

Here’s the thing about staying right on Jaz Beach – you’re perfectly positioned to explore but far enough from Budva’s chaos to actually relax. The hotel runs a decent breakfast spread (nothing gourmet, but real coffee and fresh local bread), and there’s something pretty magical about having your morning coffee while watching the Adriatic wake up. Plus, if you’re into hiking or just want to walk off dinner, the coastal trail connects you to all the nearby beaches and coves. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you want that beachfront experience without the resort-level prices – just maybe avoid it if you need absolute quiet or five-star amenities. For what it is, the Beachfront Hotel Palma – Jaz punches above its weight class.

  Location was great. Right by the sea. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was more than big enough.Housekeeping was good, got my roomed cleaned every other day. Restaurant was also good, I liked fish fillet a lot.

  I would like to highlight the exceptional professionalism and kindness of every staff member at this hotel. In particular, the blonde lady with the warm, generous smile who works at the front desk and also assists during breakfast truly stood out. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile and great advice. If I ever return to the Jazz, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

  Lokacija je bila izjemna, izbira sobe zelo dobra. Morje super. Osebje prijazno.
  
  What could be improved: Zajtrk je pa bil katastrofa, dan na dan eno in isto, morda bi večkrat menjavali različne salame, različno zelenjavo, sadja sploh ni bilo, namazi le trije, vse dni letovanja. Nobene iznajdljivosti pri zajtrku. Pa tudi wi fi v sobi je deloval le prvi in zadnji dan, čeprav sem povedala na recepciji. Deloval je le na balkonu.

  What could be improved: The breakfast offers an abundance of food, but no juices, just room temperature diluted orange drink. The lobby and breakfast area don’t have a/c, making it hot and stuffy for eating. Jaz beach is packed with people in July and August. Sun chairs take up space from the shoreline all the way to the boardwalk, with no space for children to build sandcastles. The hotel is located on the rocky side of Jaz beach; you have to walk 5 minutes to get to a sandy area. Lots of trash on the boardwalk. Lots of people smoking and drinking all day on the beach. If you’re looking for a quiet family beach, go somewhere else.

  Jako lijep hotel, plaža se nalazi na dva koraka od hotela sto je savršeno za ljude koji su tu dosli da se odmore. Doručak na švedskom stolu ima širok izbor hrane i sama hrana je veoma ukusna. Sve u svemu tople preporuke i veliki pozdrav za osoblje hotela Palma Jaz!
