Nothing fancy, but someone clearly put thought into the details – soft lighting that doesn’t feel like a doctor’s office, comfortable seating that’s actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how rare that is), and the front desk staff who seem genuinely happy to see you rather than annoyed that you exist. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprise fees or passive-aggressive lectures about towel policies. The suites themselves are where this place really shines though. I mean, when they say “suites,” they actually mean it – you’re getting a proper living area that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, a bedroom that fits more than just a bed and your suitcase explosion, and a kitchenette that’s actually usable if you want to grab groceries and save some money on meals. The beds are solid (firm but not rock-hard), and honestly, I slept better there than I do at home most nights. What really impressed me was the attention to soundproofing – I could barely hear my neighbors, which is saying something since I’m usually the person complaining about paper-thin walls.

There’s good water pressure in the shower (seriously underrated), the AC actually works without sounding like a freight train, and they’ve got decent WiFi throughout. Parking was straightforward, no hunting around the block or paying through the nose for valet. The housekeeping is thorough but not intrusive – they’ll refresh your space without rearranging all your stuff or using enough air freshener to choke a horse. I also noticed they’re pretty good about maintenance; everything worked as it should, from the coffee maker to the TV remote. If I’m being completely honest, the breakfast situation is pretty basic – continental style, nothing fancy – but the coffee’s decent and there are enough options to get your day started. The location works well for getting around without being right in the chaos of everything, which I personally prefer. For a three-star place, Beatrix Suites delivers way more value than you’d expect, and it’s the kind of spot where you can actually relax instead of just surviving your stay.
