During the day, Pržno’s beach is right there, and it’s one of those rare spots that locals still use, so you get a mix of tourists and Montenegrin families rather than just package tour groups. The little restaurants around the bay serve proper grilled fish – I’m talking about places where the menu depends on what the boats brought in that morning.

Parking can be a bit tricky during peak summer (July and August get intense), but the staff actually knows the area and will point you toward spots that aren’t obvious to first-time visitors. Check-in was smooth – they speak good English and seem to genuinely want you to enjoy the place rather than just process you through. The 9-star rating makes sense when you factor in that this feels more like staying somewhere real rather than in a tourist bubble. Sure, it’s not luxury-resort fancy, but that’s actually the point. If you want authentic Montenegro coast experience without roughing it, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.
