Honestly, when I first heard the name “Belvedere Apartments,” I was expecting something pretty standard – you know, one of those places that sounds fancier than it actually is. But walking up to this place, I was genuinely surprised. The building has this understated charm that immediately made me think, “okay, someone here actually cares about the details.”

What really struck me was how quiet it gets in the evenings – and I mean properly quiet, not that fake hotel silence where you’re still hearing elevator dings and hallway conversations at midnight. The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s carefully curated home than a typical hotel room. There’s actually space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either; I mean, you can actually cook a decent meal if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. And honestly? Sometimes after a long day of exploring, making scrambled eggs in your pajamas hits differently than room service.

The staff here seems to genuinely know the area – not just the tourist hotspots everyone mentions, but the kind of local spots that make a trip memorable. When I asked about breakfast places, instead of pointing me toward some generic café, they mentioned this little bakery that apparently opens at 6 AM and has the best pastries before they sell out by 9. (They were right, by the way.) That 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything just… works. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out when you need it most, the shower pressure is actually decent, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no weird upselling or lengthy explanations about amenities I didn’t ask about.

You know what I really appreciated? The little thoughtful touches that someone clearly put effort into. Fresh flowers in the lobby that actually get changed regularly, not those sad wilted things you see in some places. The lighting in the rooms feels warm and lived-in rather than that harsh hotel fluorescent situation. And parking – well, let’s just say it’s not the nightmare you’d expect. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble everything and a concierge in a fancy uniform, but honestly? Sometimes those places try too hard and forget about the basics. This place nailed the basics and then added just enough personality to make you want to come back. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying at a well-organized friend’s apartment than a corporate hotel, this is probably your spot.

  Boban is one of the kindest person I’ve ever met. The house was perfectly designed and cleaned. The view was also amazing, as such we did not want to leave the house sometimes. Highly recommended!!!

  Very well stocked and clean. Beautiful sea view and mountain view from the balcony. Host was very helpful and accommodating. He even guided us on taxi prices and nearby grocery stores.
  The host explained us some shortcuts to reach the Mogren beach, which made it slightly easier
  
  What could be improved: The description on Booking.com says 350 feet from Mogren beach, but that’s incorrect. The public route is around 2 kms (downhill) walk to the beach as you have to circumvent a lot of the private properties/land.

  Boban, the apartment host, is so welcoming and helpful. He personally greets you on arrival and ensures you have a good farewell at the end of your stay. Upon request, Boban recommended an excellent taxi driver – Goran who reliably picked us up from and to Tivat Airport (approximately 30 minutes journey for 35 Euro). Boban's apartment is fantastic, spotlessly clean, absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable bedroom and living area with a TV with lots of channels. The bathroom was suitably spacious with a great shower, perfect hot water and a washing machine with tablets to use if you need. The ultimate highlight is the view from the spacious balcony. Lovely sunlounbger, table and chairs all to use. Boban very kindly gave us a bottle of his own home made apple brandy, a lovely treat to drink after dinner. Boban also gave us a 10% discount card off food and drink that we used twice at the next door stunning Visat Restaurant. Boban respected our privacy but was very available if you needed anything via WhatsApp messaging

  The view from the apartment is the best you can ever imagine. Apartment has everything you need, even free private parking! 10 min to the Old Town (half by stairs;) very quiet and cozy! Perfect for families!
  Restaurant next door, main road to any destination in front of the place.
  Host went beyond and above to help us in anything we needed! Amazing man with an open heart!

  Fantastic view from the balcony over the old town of Budva and out to sea. Situated on outskirts of Budva so easy to access the rest of Montenegro. Quick walk down to the town by road or by staircases zig zagging down. Slightly longer walk back up! Very clean and tidy appartment. Welcoming host, Boban was easily contactable and willing to help with anything. Great value and would highly recommend.
