Hotel Description

You know what? I’ve walked past Blue Palace Guest House probably a dozen times before I actually stayed there, and honestly, the name had me expecting something way more pretentious than what you actually get. It’s this unassuming three-star place that somehow manages to punch way above its weight – I mean, an 8.6 rating doesn’t just happen by accident, right?

The thing that struck me first was how quiet it gets at night, which is sort of a miracle considering you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The staff actually remembers your name after like, day two, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to grab decent coffee at 7 AM (they’ll point you in the right direction, trust me). The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to describe – not fancy, but everything works properly and the beds are honestly better than some four-star places I’ve crashed at. There’s this particular smell in the hallways, sort of like old wood and that specific cleaning product that reminds you of your grandmother’s house, but in a good way.

What really gets me about this place is the little things they do right. Like, the shower pressure is actually decent – and if you’ve stayed in enough mid-range places, you know that’s basically winning the lottery. The WiFi works in every corner I tried it, even that weird spot by the stairs where internet usually goes to die. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which around here can make or break your whole experience. I noticed they tend to get busy during the weekend rush, but weekday mornings have this peaceful vibe where you can actually enjoy breakfast without fighting for a table. The check-in process is refreshingly straightforward – no weird hidden fees or twenty minutes of upselling nonsense, just “here’s your key, the elevator’s over there, let us know if you need anything.” Honestly, after dealing with some of the corporate chain hotels lately, that kind of simplicity feels almost revolutionary. If you’re looking for a place that just… works without any drama, and where 8.6 rating actually means something real rather than just marketing fluff, this is probably your spot.

  Tanya the receptionist went beyond to help us. She came with us to show the roads, places to visit and shortcuts etc.All the stars to her. In the hotel it is way bigger than we expected, had one double room and another single bed and in the middle we could close the door ( like two rooms). Shower, the water pressure and hot water works perfect. Had a hair dryer and an iron too. Location of the hotel only 500ft walk to the beach and 30-40 minute walk to budva through the tunnel.

  Well working air conditioning and lots of dishes avaiable in the kitchen anex so it was easily to eat something in the apartament, also iron and ironing board was in the apartament.

  Room was very comfortable. Friendly hosts. There is a kitchen in the room where you could prepare a food. Good location: there is a bus stop (bus to Budva cntre) near the hotel.

  The host was very welcoming. The apartment was clean with comfortable beds. Parking spot with shadow. All that you need in kitchen. Big shower and bathroom. The big surprise was the fact that the towels were changed everyday.
