  Smaller but nice apartment, cca 15 min walk from the coast and 10 mins from the bus station. Balcony with a nice seating. Supermarket around the corner. Host was friendly but not English speaking.
  
  What could be improved: Repeated power outages which affected the whole street (so not fault of the host). Apparently happens on various places in Budva during the high season.

  What could be improved: During the booking process on the booking.com platform, it was indicated that no advance payment was required. However, a few days after confirming the reservation, I received a message from the owner to pay 30% in advance. Since there were still a few days until my arrival, we agreed that I would pay the full amount in cash upon check-in. When we arrived, the owner did not rush to collect the money. A few days before the end of our stay, I sent a message to the owner that I wanted to pay. The owner replied that the cleaning lady would come the next morning, and I should pay her. We also agreed that after payment, the owner would send me an invoice.
  The cleaning lady came to collect the money, but it was very late—around 23:30 on the following day—when I was already in bed, resting before my journey home. Instead of the promised invoice, I received a pro forma invoice, which is not a document confirming that services were provided and paid for. The amount specified in the pro forma invoice was 386.75€, even though I had paid 407.75€.
  In the room, there was only one power outlet, from which we had to connect the air conditioner, electric stove, electric kettle, and refrigerator. Here is the information related to the facilities listed for the room:
  1. The air conditioning apparently had not been repaired for a long time and was making loud noise. It was very hot in the room, so we couldn't do without air conditioning. We spent three nights without proper rest until we convinced the owner to fix it.
  2. Kitchen area: There were problems with the two-burner electric stove. The smaller burner didn't work at all, and the larger one only heated one side. There was only cold water in the sink. The dishwashing liquid container was always full, but its contents became thinner every day.
  3. A flat-screen TV was present but also did not work.
  4. There was no iron and no toaster.
  5. The internet speed was so slow that sometimes we couldn’t even check our emails.
