So I ended up at Budva Centar during my Montenegro trip, and honestly? It’s one of those places that just works. You know what I mean – not flashy, not trying to be something it’s not, but it gets the job done really well. The location alone makes it worth considering, especially if you actually want to experience Budva rather than just stay somewhere near it.

What struck me first was how genuinely central it is – I mean, you’re literally in the thick of everything without the chaos of being right on the main strip. You can walk to the Old Town walls in maybe five minutes, and the beach access is ridiculously easy. The staff seemed to actually know the area too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They pointed me toward this little bakery around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise – the kind of spot where locals grab their morning burek. The rooms themselves are pretty standard for a three-star, but they’re clean and the beds are comfortable enough. Air conditioning works well, which you’ll definitely need if you’re visiting in summer. I stayed during peak season and yeah, it gets warm, but the rooms stay cool. The bathroom was recently updated, I think – everything looked fresh and the water pressure was actually decent.

Here’s the thing about Budva Centar though – it sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close to everything but not overwhelmed by it. During the day, you’ve got easy access to all the beaches (Slovenska Plaza is literally a few minutes away), and at night you can hear the energy from the bars and clubs but it’s not keeping you awake. Well, unless you want it to – if you’re planning to hit Budva’s nightlife, you’re basically already there. Parking can be tricky during July and August – honestly, most places in central Budva have this issue – but they do have some arrangements for guests. The breakfast is simple but solid, nothing fancy, just good coffee and local pastries plus the usual eggs and cold cuts. What I really appreciated was how straightforward everything was – no hidden fees, no pushy upselling, just honest hospitality. The building itself has that Mediterranean coastal vibe without being overly touristy about it. For the price point and location, it’s actually a smart choice, especially if you’re someone who plans to spend most of your time exploring rather than hanging around the hotel. You’re getting genuine value here – it’s the kind of place where you feel like you made a good decision rather than just settling for something convenient.

Early hotels booking in Budva requires advance planning during peak summer seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned beaches and vibrant nightlife.

  Key-box for getting the keys was very convenient for us, and the apartment had a black out blinds, which provided nice dark and quiet sleep. The bed was very comfortable too. Even though we didn't meet the host in person, we had an excellent & fast communication in messages.
  
  What could be improved: We knew it when we booked, but it's a bit of a walk to the old town, about 20 minutes or so.

  Velmi milá a vstřícná hostitelka. Zajímala se i v průběhu pobytu, jestli je vše v pořádku a jestli něco nepotřebujeme. Pokud jsme měli dotaz nebo nějaký problém, mohli jsme ji kdykoliv obrátit. Velmi dobrá komunikace. Velkým bonusem bylo vlastní parkovací místo v podzemní garáži v domě. Ocenili jsme vybavení bytu – máte vše, co potřebuje, zejména kuchyň s myčkou na nádobí, pračku, balkon. Vhodné pro ubytování rodin s dětmi. Vše bylo pěkné, čisté a nové.

  What could be improved: Pe booking era precizat ca este loc de parcare, in prima zi am fost indrumati spre o parcare subterana, iar a doua zi ne am trezit cu masina vandalizata, oglinda, cauciucul taiat. A 2-a zi ne a spus proprietara sa parcam in afara parcarii subterane si ne am trezit cu masina ridicata si am fost nevoiti sa platim in 106€.
