Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Budva over the years, and honestly? Budva Morska Oaza caught me off guard in the best way. When you first pull up on Cetinjska street, it doesn’t scream “look at me” like some of those flashy beachfront places – but that’s actually part of its charm. The location is brilliant if you know Budva at all. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Slovenska Plaza beach, but far enough from the Old Town chaos that you can actually sleep at night without hearing drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you don’t expect from a 4-star. The rooms are genuinely comfortable – I mean, the beds are actually good, not just passable hotel beds. And the bathrooms? Clean, modern, with water pressure that doesn’t make you want to cry (if you’ve traveled the Balkans, you know what I’m talking about). The staff here gets it too – they know Budva inside and out. When I asked about avoiding the tourist trap restaurants, the front desk guy gave me three local spots that were absolutely perfect. You know what else I appreciated? The parking situation is sorted, which… well, if you’ve ever tried to park near Budva’s center in July, you’ll understand why that matters.

The breakfast deserves a mention because it’s not your typical continental hotel spread. They do this local cheese and prosciutto thing that’s honestly better than what I’ve had at some restaurants in town. Plus, the terrace where you eat overlooks this little slice of the Adriatic that somehow feels more intimate than those massive resort views. I stayed here in late September – perfect timing, actually, because the crowds were gone but the weather was still gorgeous – and the whole place felt relaxed in a way it probably doesn’t in peak summer. The 9.5 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense; it’s earned through those little things that make you want to come back. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and housekeeping doesn’t barge in when you’re trying to nap off a beach day. If you’re planning a Budva trip and want something that feels both polished and authentic – not trying too hard to impress but genuinely impressive – this is your spot.

  Great communication with lovely Natasha, and this apartment is an easy walk from the bus station. The apartment itself was delightful, very comfortable, with a large outdoor area as well. Very close to a big supermarket, the bus to Sveti Stefan, and the old town was just another few minutes walk. Even Mongren Beach was only 10/12 min walk away. So a perfect location for us and a lovely apartment.

  Almost everything was brand new. I wish we would have stayed more than one day. The balcony was great. The bed was comfortable. The internet speed is good and you have a smart TV.
  
  What could be improved: The parking place and the apartment are a tiny bit far away from each other. Also, the door can be opened from outside if you don't lock it. That's a weird design but maybe that's how it is in Budva.
