You know what struck me first about the Victoria Residance? It’s tucked right there on Novembra street, which honestly most tourists completely walk past while they’re hunting for the main drag down to the beach. But that’s actually brilliant – you’re literally a three-minute walk from all the Budva chaos, yet when you step inside, it feels like you’ve found this quiet pocket that locals probably wish they’d kept secret.

I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place, but whoever’s running this spot clearly gives a damn about the details. The lobby has this understated elegance thing going on – not trying too hard to impress, just clean lines and that particular kind of Montenegrin hospitality where the staff actually remembers your name by day two. What really got me was how they’ve managed to blend that old Adriatic charm with modern touches that actually work. The rooms are spacious (and I’m picky about this stuff), with these gorgeous tile floors that stay cool even when it’s blazing outside in July. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine either, which – trust me on this – matters more than you think when you’re trying to nap off a beach hangover.

Here’s the thing about the location that guidebooks won’t tell you: you’re positioned perfectly to avoid the absolute madness of the Old Town crowds during peak hours, but you can still hear the faint buzz of nightlife if that’s your thing. I actually loved being able to grab coffee at that little place around the corner (the one with the green awnings – locals queue there every morning) before the tour groups descend. And parking? Well, it’s Budva, so parking’s always an adventure, but at least you’re not circling the medieval walls at midnight looking for a spot. The walk down to Slovenska Beach takes maybe five minutes if you don’t get distracted by the market stalls, and honestly, that stretch of coastline is way less crowded than the main tourist beaches anyway. The staff here seems genuinely proud of their town too – they’ll point you toward the hiking trails up to Kosmač if you mention you’re getting tired of beach life, or tell you which konoba actually serves decent seafood without the tourist markup. It’s that kind of place where you end up staying an extra night just because it feels right, you know?

  I have 7 nights spectacular stay in this apartment. The location is accessible and walking distance to markets, shops and beaches.
  
  The room is well equipped with all the needs inside a home: complete essentials in the kitchen, washing machine/laundry, extra sheets in the bed room, comfortable sofa in the living room and a wide balcony with a nice view.
  
  Kudos to the guy (maybe the owner), he is approachable and accommodating.
