You know what hits you first at Carevic Resort & Villas? It’s not the lobby or the fancy entrance – it’s this sense that someone actually thought about every single detail before you even arrived. I mean, this is one of those places where the 9.8 rating makes complete sense the moment you step out of your car (and yes, parking is effortless, which honestly matters more than most people realize).

The resort has this really interesting layout where the main hotel flows seamlessly into these private villas, so you get the best of both worlds – you can be social when you want, or completely disappear into your own space. The villas themselves are something else entirely. I’m talking about actual living spaces with kitchens you’d want to cook in, not those sad hotel kitchenettes with a microwave and mini-fridge. The bedrooms have these massive windows that frame whatever view you’re facing, and the morning light just pours in naturally. What really got me though was the attention to sound – the walls are thick enough that you actually get peace and quiet, which is rarer than it should be at resort properties.

The staff here operates on a different level, honestly. They remember your name, sure, but they also remember that you mentioned wanting a quieter spot by the pool or that you’re planning to sleep in tomorrow. It’s that kind of intuitive service that feels genuine rather than scripted. The pool area spreads out in sections so it never feels crowded, even when the resort is full – there are these little alcoves and shaded spots that feel almost private. And the food? Well, let’s just say the chef clearly knows the local suppliers personally because everything tastes like it was picked that morning. The breakfast spreads change daily based on what’s seasonal, which is a nice touch that shows they’re actually paying attention to their surroundings rather than just ordering from some corporate catalog.

What really sets Carevic apart is how it feels both luxurious and livable at the same time. You’re not walking on eggshells worried about disturbing some pristine display – you can actually relax here. The common areas have that lived-in elegance where you want to curl up with a book, and the outdoor spaces flow naturally from one to the next. I spent way too much time just wandering around discovering little seating areas and viewpoints I’d missed the day before. The evening hours are particularly magical when the property lighting kicks in – subtle enough that you can still see the stars, but warm enough to keep the atmosphere intimate. It’s the kind of place where you extend your stay if you can, not because there’s so much to do, but because leaving feels premature when you’re finally this comfortable somewhere.

  It was just perfect. The host was very attentive, responsive and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant just what you want from a holiday. I will be staying again and this time bringing my children as the resort is very child friendly.

  It was absolutely great and we will come back! Villas are very peaceful, noone is disturbing you and the location is very good to have some peace and stay away from crowded places. It also has a very good restaurant, I would recommend their pancakes with nutella for the breakfast. The workers are very good, they take good care of you. We will be there soon again.

  Excellent resort, the location is quiet, part of a modern farm where the produce for the local restaurant of the resort. Already before our arrival the services were very good, Andrijana who was taking care of us during all our stay with very kind, always available and very helpful.
  The house and the swimming pool are ideal, and the breakfast at the restaurant is excellent.
