Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Montenegrin coastal spots, and Casa Al Mare Residence Apartment Lena honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. You know that feeling when you roll up to a place and it just clicks? That’s what happened here. The apartment sits in Becici, which – let’s be real – most people overlook because they’re fixated on Budva’s Old Town chaos. But here’s the thing: you’re literally a five-minute walk from Becici Beach, which is hands down one of the nicest stretches of sand on this part of the coast, without the shoulder-to-shoulder madness you get at Budva’s main beaches.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not like a sterile hotel room that’s been focus-grouped to death. Lena (I’m assuming that’s the owner’s name) has this place dialed in – the kitchen actually has proper knives and decent cookware, which you’d be surprised how rare that is in vacation rentals. The balcony faces the sea, and I mean, you wake up to that Adriatic blue every morning. The Wi-Fi works properly too, something I’ve learned not to take for granted around here. What really got me was the attention to small stuff – good shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train. The walk into Budva takes maybe fifteen minutes along the coast road, but honestly, after a day dealing with the crowds and tour groups in the old town, coming back to Becici feels like exhaling.

Here’s what I’d tell anyone thinking about booking: the location is sort of perfect if you want to be near the action but not drowning in it. You can walk to those beachfront restaurants in Becici – try the grilled octopus at Tre Canne, seriously – or hop on one of those little local buses that run constantly into Budva center. Parking isn’t a nightmare here like it is closer to town, which matters if you’re planning to explore places like Kotor or Perast (both absolutely worth the drive, by the way). The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works the way it should. I actually extended my stay two extra nights, which should tell you something. If you’re the type who needs a resort with seventeen pools and a kids’ club, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a really solid home base that feels authentic and gives you space to breathe while you explore one of Europe’s most underrated coastlines, Casa Al Mare gets it right.

  Dimitrij is very kind host . The appartment was perfectly clean, bed was very comfortable and size if the room was fitting to two persons. The has nice balcony with chairs and table so we were enjoing morning breakfast. It'oriented rather on the mountain than on sea but view is nice anyway. There's little noise coming from nearby road but not tha much anoying.
  Beach close to the appartment are/were extreemly full ať the time of our stay (Aug 23) but if you walk ca 10-15 min taward to Swety Stefan you meet two rocky beaches which much moře calm and environment for swimming is much nicer. Shop (Idea) is just 100 m from appartment with high variety of goods.

  Дуже хороше місце розташування практично на пляжі,близько супермаркет, чисто та охайно, в номері є все необхідне для комфортного проживання посуд, кавова машина і т.ін. Привітний господар, який допомагав вирішувати усі наші питання що стосувались проживання. Паркомісце у підземному паркінгу теж було присутнє, ліфт, чистий та охайний басейн.

  Boravak u ovom smještaju je bio izvanredan! Apartman je besprekorno čist i izuzetno udoban, a lokacija je idealna za pristup prelijepim pjeskovitim plažama. Domaćin je bio vrlo ljubazan i uvek spreman da pomogne sa bilo kojim pitanjem. Posebno smo uživali u bazenu koji je besplatan za korišćenje. Preporučujemo ovaj smještaj svakome ko želi opuštajući i prijatan odmor. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti!
