Casa di Fratelli
Casa di Fratelli
Look, I'll be straight with you about Casa di Fratelli β it's one of those places that grows on you, even though your first impression might be "hmm, okay." The lobby's got this old-school Italian family vibe going on (hence the name, obviously), with mismatched furniture that somehow works and the kind of worn marble floors that tell stories.
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Casa di Fratelli β it’s one of those places that grows on you, even though your first impression might be “hmm, okay.” The lobby’s got this old-school Italian family vibe going on (hence the name, obviously), with mismatched furniture that somehow works and the kind of worn marble floors that tell stories. When I checked in, the guy at the front desk was actually arguing with someone on the phone in rapid-fire Italian about what sounded like a grocery delivery, which honestly made me feel like I’d stumbled into someone’s actual home rather than a hotel.
The rooms are… well, they’re solid three-star territory, nothing more, nothing less. Clean sheets, decent shower pressure, and β here’s the thing that surprised me β really thick walls. I mean, you know how most mid-range hotels have paper-thin walls where you hear every conversation from next door? Not here. I actually slept better than I expected, though the air conditioning unit makes this weird clicking sound every twenty minutes or so. The WiFi’s reliable enough for scrolling and checking emails, but don’t plan on streaming anything in HD. What I really appreciated was the little balcony in my room (not sure if they all have them) that looked out onto this narrow side street where locals actually live and work β you’ll hear the coffee shop downstairs grinding beans at 6 AM sharp, and there’s something oddly comforting about that rhythm.
Here’s what makes Casa di Fratelli worth considering: the staff genuinely seems to care, even when they’re slightly overwhelmed. The woman who handles housekeeping β I think her name was Maria β remembered I needed extra towels without me asking twice. And the breakfast, while not fancy, hits all the right notes with proper espresso and fresh pastries that definitely don’t come from some industrial supplier. The location’s pretty smart too β you’re not in the thick of tourist central, but you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters. Just know that the neighborhood gets quiet early, so if you’re looking for late-night action right outside your door, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a place that feels authentic without being pretentious, where you can actually get some rest and the staff treats you like a person rather than a room number, Casa di Fratelli delivers on that promise. The 7.1 rating makes sense β it’s not going to blow your mind, but it won’t disappoint either.
Budva hotels provide guests with luxurious accommodations in Montenegro’s premier coastal destination, known for its crystal-clear waters and medieval architecture.
