Casa Mia Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Casa Mia – honestly, the name made me think it might be one of those cheesy places trying too hard to be Italian. But walking through those doors completely changed my tune. There’s something genuinely warm about this place that hits you right away, and I mean that in the best possible way. The lobby has this lived-in elegance that feels more like stepping into someone’s really well-appointed home than a hotel. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen everywhere), and they’ve got this knack for anticipating what you need without being all over you about it.
What really sold me on Casa Mia was all the little things they get right. The rooms are thoughtfully put together – not huge, but cleverly designed so you’re not tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m talking about that sweet spot where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re drowning in foam), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly makes or breaks a hotel stay for me. I loved that they stock local products instead of the usual generic stuff – there’s this amazing lavender soap that I may have snagged an extra bar of. The windows actually open too, which seems like such a small thing until you’re in a place where they don’t and you feel totally sealed off from wherever you are.
Here’s the thing about Casa Mia that really sets it apart – it feels like they actually care about the experience you’re having. The concierge team knows their stuff beyond the typical tourist traps. They pointed me toward this incredible little bakery about a ten-minute walk away that I never would have found on my own, and suggested the perfect time to visit the main attractions when they’re less crowded. Breakfast is served until a civilized hour (thank goodness), and they don’t rush you through it like you’re on some kind of assembly line. The coffee is legitimately good – not that burnt hotel coffee that makes you wonder why you bothered. Even check-out was painless, which sounds mundane but you’d be surprised how many places make it feel like you’re applying for a mortgage. With a 9.1 rating, I can see why people keep coming back here. It’s one of those places that just works, you know? Everything feels intentional and well thought out, but not in that sterile, overthought way that sucks the personality out of a place.
Budva’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm and modern comfort, with many featuring sea view terraces and traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

What an absolute gem this hotel is. We loved everything about our stay here!
The staff were so friendly, helpful and lovely, going above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The hotel and rooms are spotlessly cleaned and modern, with added touches of thoughtfulness. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends.Lisa from United Kingdom – 30 October 2024 (10/10)
All the staff were super helpful, personable and caring, giving us lots of great tips and advice for exploring Budva and other parts of Montenegro. They helped us with our luggage and just going above and beyond with the customer service compared to what you would usually find in other hotels of this size. Our room was super clean and attended every day, plus a couple of floors had kitchen facilities providing guests with the option of self catering if they so wished. The location was great for accessing both the beach and the centre of town.
What could be improved: Couldn’t fault anythingLisa from United Kingdom – 29 October 2024 (10/10)
From the moment we arrived, we were taken very good care of by Blazo and Jake. Even our luggage was taken to the property and our car was parked for us. They take great pride in making sure that their guests are comfortable and having a great stay in Budva. I saw this consideration taken with other guests as well. We were given lots of excellent suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed, with towels changed daily. I really liked how a couple of the floors had kitchenettes for guests to use. Casa Mia offers great value for money and is in a convenient location, walking distance to the beach.
What could be improved: Can’t fault anything.Lai from United Kingdom – 4 October 2024 (10/10)
Fantastic property with amazing helpful staff. Close to the beach and supermarket right outside. Short walk to the old town. Clean modern rooms. Comfortable bed. Thanks Rocky for a great stay.
What could be improved: Compact bathroom. Was a little noisy when the supermarket air-conditioning units run.Ahmet from Turkey – 27 September 2024 (10/10)
Clean ,well located

The rooms are really lovely. Well maintained and modern. The pool is a great feature but is a little cold. The staff were all great and the cleaning team work incredibly hard to keep this place looking it's best. Roof terrace is very nice.
What could be improved: It would be great to see Casa Mia obtain hotel status. A residents bar and small breakfast room would top this place off brilliantly. I hope they get there.Oskar from Poland – 25 September 2024 (10/10)
Let's start from the beginning:
Before arriving, the hotel provided us with all the necessary information and was very responsive to our questions. Thanks to their help, we decided to use the transfer service they recommended instead of going by train, bus etc
After arriving, we were warmly welcomed—not in the lobby but in the driveway, as the staff came to help us with our luggage. We didn’t expect that, and it definitely set the tone for our whole stay. All the staff members were smiling, ready to help, and eager to answer all kinds of questions.
Language was never a problem (English).
The elevator (as we were on holiday with our one-year-old son, we were more than happy to see an elevator).
The clean, chlorine-free pool with a little salt water was a nice addition to everything.
Daily cleaning service.
Even after checkout, they helped us a lot by organizing our transfer to another city, and we were able to leave our luggage, allowing us to enjoy a few more nice hours in Budva before our transfer arrived!
What could be improved: As I said, I think they went above and beyond to make this stay perfect. However, if I had to mention one thing we didn’t like, it would be the short cable on the electric kettle 😀Bea from Ireland – 24 September 2024 (10/10)
very confortable bed and nice room with a superb shower and nice champos
What could be improved: we liked it all
