You know what really caught me off guard about Chiron Apartments? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – I was expecting some sterile corporate setup, but this place has genuine character. It’s one of those 3-star spots that punches above its weight because whoever runs it actually cares about the details that matter.

First thing you’ll notice walking in is how quiet everything feels, even though you’re right in the thick of things. The lobby isn’t trying to impress anyone with marble or chandeliers – it’s just comfortable in that lived-in way that tells you people actually stay here regularly, not just pass through. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “let me upsell you seventeen things” nonsense you get at chain hotels. The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to grab decent coffee at 7am or which streets to avoid during rush hour.

The apartments themselves – and yeah, they really are more apartment-style than typical hotel rooms – feel like someone’s well-kept spare place rather than a generic box. I mean, you’ve got actual counter space in the kitchenette area, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. The beds are surprisingly good (I’m picky about mattresses), and the windows actually open properly, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places cheap out on that. What really sold me though was the attention to practical stuff – decent water pressure, outlets where you actually need them, and blackout curtains that work. There’s this cozy worn-in feeling to everything that makes you want to stay an extra night.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned without being in the chaos – close enough to walk wherever you need to go, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. I loved being able to wander out for groceries or hit up the local spots that tourists usually miss. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you spend a night there – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it nails all the fundamentals that actually matter when you’re traveling. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole place just smells clean without that overwhelming chemical smell some hotels blast everywhere. Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest difference.

  Well located, comfortable parking garage (although a bit pricy), and the staff on check in were very helpful. Nice view, quiet building. Short walk to groceries store and old town.
  
  What could be improved: Wifi connection in the living room was bad. Also, some things were not working like the light in the kitchen and the steam collector.

  It was clean and cozy apartment, close to center and beaches and it has a nice view from the balcony. Nearby theres a supermarket and some local restaurants up to 10 min walk. The staff were very kind as well. The check in was tricky, you need to collect the keys from different location – Hotel Hermes – but after the checkout we could leave the luggage in the hotel reception free of charge so was good.
  
  What could be improved: It would ve been great if there were some cooking oil and salt for some breakfast prepping etc. Also there was washing machine but no washing powder.

  The apartment is located very close to the old town. There are steps that go down right to Volli, which is 200 meters from the Old Town. Location is great, the view from the balcony is amazing, you can see the sea and the mountains. It is calm location, a huge garage is under the house. Garage cost was 10 eu per 24 hrs, but we did not use it so we did not pay. The staff is very friendly, and there is a cleaner that comes on some days, we did not need her help though. Several beaches nearby, we used all 4 and all are superb!
  
  What could be improved: The kettle had a broken lid, so if it is still there – be careful when pouring hot water, the lid can go off. Internet is not working in bedroom, but works well in TV room and on the balcony. Collecting the key is a bit of a challenge – you need to drive to another hotel's reception (5 minutes drive, but heavy traffic). But check out is smooth – just leave the key inside and go. Also, the rent is a bit expensive for what you get, but I guess it is the overall Budva market that pushes the prices that high.
