Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about the Comfort Inn Old Town? It’s actually tucked right into the heart of Budva’s medieval quarter on Iva Mikovića street, which means you’re literally steps away from those ancient stone walls and cobblestone alleys that everyone comes here to see. I mean, most chain hotels stick you out in the newer parts of town where you need a taxi to get anywhere interesting, but this place – well, you can stumble back from dinner at Jadran Kod Krsta after way too much Vranac wine and actually find your room without calling an Uber.
The building itself has that sort of practical, no-nonsense vibe you’d expect from a 3-star Comfort Inn, honestly. Nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean and the AC works (which, trust me, matters a lot during those sweltering July and August nights when the Adriatic breeze just isn’t cutting it). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being right in Old Town – I was worried about noise from the restaurants and bars, but the stone walls are thick and most of the late-night action happens closer to the Citadela anyway. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They actually knew which beaches were less crowded (head toward Jaz if you want space to breathe) and could recommend spots where locals eat instead of just pointing you toward the tourist traps on Njegoševa.
Here’s the thing about staying right in Old Town though – parking is basically nonexistent, so if you’re driving, you’ll be using one of the paid lots outside the walls and walking your luggage in. But honestly? That’s true for pretty much anywhere decent in this part of Budva. What makes this place worth it is that morning coffee ritual where you can walk thirty seconds to Forza Café and sit with actual Montenegrins reading their newspapers instead of fighting for a table at some overpriced spot full of cruise ship passengers. The 7.2 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. Plus, when you’re spending your days swimming at Mogren Beach or exploring the Podmaine Monastery ruins, you really just need a comfortable bed and a good shower at the end of the day. The location alone makes it a solid choice if you want to experience Budva like someone who actually lives here instead of just passing through.

Very Good – Kaja from Montenegro – January 7, 2025 (8/10)
The location is wonderful and the view from the top floor is lovely. The apartment is very spacious, with pretty and clean bedrooms and a wide bathroom. Despite the cold weather, the air conditioning kept the apartment very warm. The value is also fair. We definitely recommend 🙂
What could be improved: My only complaint would be that the oven is a bit complicated to work with and the kitchen needs a little more cleaning. But other than that, all was great.Exceptional – Atil from Turkey – July 15, 2024 (10/10)

Die Lage ist toll, die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig.
What could be improved: Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer hat nicht funktioniert.
Im Hausflur war es etwas heruntergekommen bzw. die Treppenstufen nicht fertig saniert.Dragulj v središču Budve – Alenka from Slovenia – July 21, 2024 (9/10)
App je v središču stare Budve, sredi dogajanja, vendar ponoči vseeno mirno. Stanovanje dobro opremljeno in udobno. Plaža blizu, prav tako restavracije in bari le nekaj korakov stran. Lastnica odzivna in prijazna, dobro organizirana:)
What could be improved: 4. nadstropje brez dvigala, ena spalnica brez klime, wifi ni delal več kot 1. danDisappointing – Francisco from Spain – August 19, 2024 (4/10)
Está muy centrico, en medio del bullicio de la ciudad antigua.
Parking acordado con un hotel. Es imposible sino aparcar
What could be improved: Está todo un poco viejosva navedena oprema ne radi – Надежда from Russia – September 17, 2023 (3/10)
dobra lokacija. ovo je jedini plus apartmana
What could be improved: nije vredno cene! za 100 evra po noći u septembru možete pronaći dobre opcije! ali ovde dobijate klima uređaj koji ne radi, šporet koji se ne može uključiti bez uputstva, loš Vi-Fi, i veš mašinu koja ne radi! plus prljavi zidovi i podovi!Good – Marsela from Albania – September 11, 2023 (7/10)
Wonderful – Nina from Montenegro – August 26, 2023 (9/10)
