The elevators are quick, the hallways are wide enough that you’re not doing that awkward dance when someone’s coming the other way, and the soundproofing is actually decent – I mean, you might hear the occasional door closing, but it’s nothing like those paper-thin hotel walls where you know your neighbor’s entire life story by morning. Check-in was surprisingly smooth both times; they had my keys ready and the staff seemed to actually know who I was instead of that glazed-over look you get at big chain places.

What really sold me, though, was the practical stuff. The apartments come with full-sized appliances – and I’m talking about a real refrigerator, not one of those mini-bar contraptions. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook (the local markets are fantastic, by the way), but there are also tons of restaurants within walking distance if you can’t be bothered. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the unit, which matters if you’re trying to work, and there’s actually good natural light in most rooms – something you don’t realize you miss until you’re stuck in a windowless cave somewhere else. Parking was straightforward when I had a rental car, though I’d recommend asking about it when you book since spots can fill up during busier periods. The 8.0 rating feels about right to me – it’s not perfect, but the things that matter most are handled really well, and honestly, the value is hard to beat for what you’re getting. It’s the kind of place where you settle in after the first day and think, “Yeah, I could actually live like this for a while.”
