Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Daydream Luxury Apartment” I was expecting some over-the-top touristy place, but it’s actually way more grounded than the name suggests. This three-star spot on Mediteranska sits in one of those perfect Budva locations where you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the main drag that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 3 AM (trust me, that’s a real concern in this town).

What really got me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between apartment-style freedom and hotel convenience. The units feel like actual homes – none of that sterile hotel furniture that looks like it came from the same catalog as every other place in Montenegro. You know what I mean? You’ve got proper kitchen space if you want to grab some of that incredible local cheese from the market down the street, but you’re also just a quick walk to some seriously good restaurants if cooking isn’t your vacation vibe. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Budva, but everything just… works. The Wi-Fi is solid (crucial if you’re trying to upload those sunset photos from Sveti Stefan), the air conditioning actually keeps up with those brutal July afternoons, and honestly, the beds are better than what you’d expect for the price point.

The location is what really seals the deal though. Mediteranska is one of those streets that feels residential enough to give you a taste of how locals actually live, but you’re still maybe ten minutes on foot from the Old Town walls and those little beach bars that don’t show up in guidebooks. There’s this bakery around the corner that does these amazing burek pastries – locals line up there every morning around 8, and if you time it right, you’ll get them still warm. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season (aren’t we all tired of that Balkan parking situation?), but the staff actually knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real alternatives, not just vague hand-waving toward “somewhere nearby.” I stayed there in late September when things were cooling down, and it had this perfect quiet energy – you could hear the sea from some of the balconies, but also the everyday sounds of people going about their lives. That’s the kind of thing that makes a place stick with you, you know?

  What could be improved: Nie otrzymaliśmy powyższego zarezerwowanego apartamentu, tylko inny o znaczenie niższym standardzie. Nie bylismy o tym uprzedzeni, zostaliśmy postawieni przed faktem dokonanym. Apartament, który nam zaproponowano był znaczenie mniejszy, nie posprzątany i brudny. Niektóre elementy wyposażenia były zniszczone lub uszkodzone.
