This place is tucked into The old bakery Residance (yes, they spell it like that), and you know what? That quirky detail actually tells you everything about why this spot works so well. It’s got character without trying too hard.

The location in Budva is actually perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere locals might actually live, rather than in some sterile tourist bubble. You’re close enough to walk into the old town – maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not in a rush – but far enough out that you won’t hear drunk British tourists singing football chants at 2 AM. I mean, the sea views (that’s what “deniz manzaralı” means, by the way) are genuinely stunning from here, especially in the morning when the light hits the water just right and you can see all the way across the bay. The apartment itself feels spacious and airy – “ferah” really nails it – with those high ceilings that make you forget you’re basically in what used to be a bakery building.

What I love most about staying here is how it strikes this balance between being comfortable and feeling authentic. The owners clearly put thought into the details without going overboard – good shower pressure (trust me, this matters in Montenegro), decent WiFi that actually works when you need it, and a kitchen that’s properly equipped if you want to grab some fresh fish from the market and cook it yourself. The building itself has this lived-in feel that’s way more interesting than your standard hotel corridor, and honestly, the other residents are pretty chill. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak summer months, but there’s usually something workable within a block or two. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs absolute silence to sleep, you might occasionally hear normal apartment building sounds – footsteps upstairs, that sort of thing – but it’s never been disruptive, just real life happening around you. That 4-star rating feels spot-on; it’s not trying to be fancy, just really, really good at what it does.
