Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to DH Splend Beach – I mean, it’s a 3-star place and the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that catch you completely off guard. Within about ten minutes of checking in, I realized this little gem was going to be one of those places you end up recommending to everyone.

The thing about DH Splend Beach is that it gets the fundamentals absolutely right. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (not just because they’re reading your keycard), and there’s this relaxed energy that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something locals have been keeping to themselves. I noticed guests coming back year after year – you can tell because they chat with the front desk like old friends and know exactly which beach chairs get the best morning sun. The rooms are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to impress, though I’ll be honest, the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty if you’re planning to work from your room. But honestly, once you see that beach access, checking emails becomes pretty low priority.

What really sets this place apart is its location and the fact that they’ve managed to maintain that authentic beach vibe without falling into tourist trap territory. You’re close enough to hear the waves at night (which is actually pretty amazing for falling asleep), but far enough from the main strip that you’re not dealing with rowdy crowds stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The beach out front isn’t the widest stretch of sand you’ll ever see, but it’s got this perfect laid-back atmosphere where locals still bring their kids to play in the afternoon. I spent most mornings there with my coffee, watching fishing boats head out while the water was still glassy – those are the moments that make a trip memorable, you know? The restaurant serves decent food too, nothing fancy but solid local dishes, and their breakfast is actually pretty generous. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, and parking… well, there’s enough space that you’re not circling around looking for a spot. That 9.7 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it’s because places like this remind you why you love traveling in the first place.

  A lovely apartment near the beach. The owner of apartment is responsive and attentive; she sent us detailed instructions on how to get there. She was always available and helped with any questions we had. The apartment has everything that we need. There's an air conditioner, which is important during hot weather. The shops, a pharmacy, and a tourist center are located nearby. We enjoyed everything very much. We would gladly come again! Thank you.

  Najvise nam se dopala toplina objekta, cistoca kojom je objekat blistao i shodno novcu kojem smo platili apartman, ne mozemo naci ni jednu manu ovom savrsenom apartmanu. Sto se tice vlasnika apartmana, mogu slobodno da kazem da smo impresionirani njenim osmehom, gostoprimstvom i ljupkoscu od strane iste. Sve u svemu ocena 11/10. Pozdrav iz Kragujevca❤️🤗
