Sometimes the best finds are the ones that surprise you, and this little gem on Dositejeva street absolutely did that. The 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated reviews from friends and family – this place actually delivers.

What struck me right away was how Dora feels more like staying at your Montenegrin aunt’s house than some sterile hotel room. The owners clearly put thought into making it work for groups (hence the “max 6 people” thing), and honestly, that’s where it shines. I mean, finding a place in Budva that can comfortably handle a bigger group without breaking the bank? That’s gold right there. The setup is smart too – you’re not cramped into one tiny room trying to share a bathroom with five other people. And being on Dositejeva puts you in this sweet spot where you can actually walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes, but you’re far enough from the main drag that you won’t have drunk British tourists singing football chants under your window at 3 AM.

The practical stuff matters here, and Dora gets it right in ways that bigger hotels often miss. Parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the center – there’s actually space to leave your rental car without circling for an hour. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no upselling or weird deposit demands), and the place stays surprisingly quiet even during peak summer madness. What really won me over though was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for more than just crashing after beach days. The kitchen setup is proper – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer – which means you can grab groceries at the Idea supermarket nearby and actually cook decent meals. That alone probably saved us 50 euros a day compared to eating out for every meal in touristy Budva. The whole vibe is just… comfortable, you know? Like someone actually thought about what travelers need instead of what looks good in booking photos. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but when you’re sandy and tired from hiking around Sveti Stefan all day, you want a place that feels welcoming rather than intimidating.

  great place to stay, it has everything you want and it is very close to the city center and the beach (~15 minutes walk). the host is amazing and will help you out with everything you need.
  
  What could be improved: There was a noticeable tobacco smell in the apartment, which was likely due to previous owners. This was a minor inconvenience, but it did affect the otherwise fresh atmosphere of the room. Despite this, I would still recommend for its comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Without the odor, this place would be perfect.

  Apartman je jos lepsi uzivo.. Udoban.. Komforan.. Cist.. Sa puno prelepih slika i detalja.. Snadbeven sa svim sto je potrebno jednoj porodici za prelep odmor. Poseduje i prelepu terasu. Domacini zasluzuju puno postovanje.. Njihova ljunaznost i trud da se osecate peijatno u njihovom apartmanu retko se sretne. Topla preporuka za sve koji se odluce a i one koji se razmisljaju dal da se odluce za ovaj apartman. Hbala na svemu i vidimo se sledece god opet.
