You know what caught me off guard about Elena&Fontana? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet stretch where you can still hear the Adriatic but you’re not drowning in the chaos that is central Budva during peak season. I mean, don’t get me wrong – you’re still close enough to walk to the Old Town walls in about fifteen minutes, but there’s something refreshing about coming back to a place that doesn’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish relative decided to rent out their place – and I mean that in the best way possible. Everything’s thoughtfully set up, from the kitchen that actually has proper coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones) to the balcony where you can sit with your morning espresso and watch the locals heading to work. Honestly, the 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re there. The owners clearly sweat the small stuff – there’s decent water pressure, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and they’ve got this whole arrival process down to a science. No standing around with your luggage wondering if anyone’s coming.

What really sold me, though, was the neighborhood vibe. You’ve got this little bakery about two blocks down where the locals actually go (you’ll smell it before you see it), and there’s a small market that stays open later than the touristy spots. The beach access is honestly better than what you’d get staying right in the thick of things – less crowded, and the water’s just as ridiculously blue. Plus, parking’s not the nightmare it is closer to the marina. I actually managed to find spots without circling for twenty minutes, which if you’ve driven in Montenegro, you know is basically a miracle. The only thing I’d mention is that it gets pretty quiet in the evenings, so if you’re looking for that stumble-out-of-your-room-to-a-bar situation, you’ll want to head toward the center. But honestly? After a day of exploring Kotor or dealing with the summer crowds, coming back to somewhere that actually feels peaceful was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

  Very nice apartment. Equipped with all the necessary things. Clean, spacious and well-kept. It has a balcony where you can spend an atmospheric evening with wine. Ideal for a couple or a family with a child. Wonderful and helpful owners. We highly recommend it. Fully deserved highest rating.

  Świetna lokalizacja, między starym miastem a plażą. Wszędzie blisko. Koło apartamentu sklepy, restauracje i piekarnia.
  Apartament jest przestronny z dużym balkonem a co najważniejsze w Budvie z parkingiem. Bez tego w tym mieście ani rusz.
  Bardzo mili i pomocni właściciele. Wcześniej udostępnili nam miejsce parkingowe (specjalnie przyjechali), pomogli z zameldowaniem oraz podpowiedzieli gdzie co i jak.

  Obiekt usytuowany jest bardzo blisko zabytkowej części Budvy, praktycznie nad samym morze i promenadą. 3 minuty od apartamentu jest duży market i targ, gdzie można kupić np świeże owoce, warzywa czy rybę prosto z kutra. Ponadto apartament posiada podziemny garaż, gdzie parkowaliśmy wypożyczony samochód. To niezwykle istotne, jeśli nie chce się dopłacać za szkody typu: rysy, drobne otarcia firmie wynajmującej auta. W naszej opinii lokalizacja jest doskonała i wygodna. Właściciele bardzo serdeczni i pomocni. Jeśli jeszcze kiedyś wrócimy do Budvy, to z pewnością się tam zatrzymamy.
