You know what caught me off guard about Evropa Lux Apartments? The name sounds way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. This place sits right on Alekse Šantića street, which honestly took me forever to pronounce correctly, but it’s actually perfectly positioned about a 7-minute walk from Budva’s Old Town. Not close enough to hear the party crowds stumbling home at 3 AM (trust me, you’ll appreciate this), but close enough that you’re not stuck taking expensive taxis everywhere.

The apartments themselves feel like someone’s well-maintained European flat rather than a sterile hotel room. I stayed in a one-bedroom unit that had this quirky little balcony overlooking the street – nothing spectacular view-wise, but perfect for morning coffee while watching the locals head to work. The kitchen actually works, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many “apartment hotels” have those sad little kitchenettes with one burner that barely heats water. Here you can actually cook if you want to save some money, and there’s a decent-sized Voli supermarket about three blocks down toward the main road. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, which matters when you’re trying to upload those sunset photos from Sveti Nikola island.

What really sold me on this place was how it handles the practical stuff that other reviews never mention. Parking is included – and in Budva during summer, that’s basically gold. The woman who handled check-in (I think she was the owner’s daughter?) gave me this incredibly detailed rundown of the best beach spots depending on whether I wanted party vibes or somewhere quiet to actually read a book. She was right about everything, including her warning that Slovenska Plaza gets absolutely packed after 11 AM in July. The building itself is nothing fancy – standard Mediterranean apartment block from maybe the ’90s – but everything works properly. Hot water was consistent, the AC kept up even during that brutal heat wave, and honestly, the beds were more comfortable than some four-star places I’ve stayed. Sure, you can hear some street noise during the day, but by Budva standards it’s pretty quiet. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, especially for the price point. It’s that sweet spot where you get your own space, helpful local knowledge, and you’re not paying resort prices for stuff you don’t actually need.

  Odlična lokacija, čistoća, opremljenost apartmana i pogled sa terase su odlični. Jako blizu prodavnica, restorana i kafića, a naravno i na 7,8 minuta hoda od plaže.
  
  What could be improved: Parking je malo problematičan, jer automobili stoje jedan iza drugog, pa morate planirati isparkiravanje, kao i pozivanje čoveka koji održava objekat. Sve ostalo je bilo odlično.

  Sijainti on hyvä, jos haluaa vain viettäää rantaelämää. Becicin puoli, jossa olimme on perheille sopivampi kuin Budvan keskustan ranta. Keskustan ranta on nuorten biletyspaikka ja myös kalliimpi. Vanhaan kaupunkiin on matkaa, mutta vieressä on bussipysäkki, jolta pääsee noin vartin välein vanhaan kaupunkiin tai keskustaan. Lähellä on marketti, kioski ja leipomotiski. Emännän tytär osaa hyvin englantia ja vuokraajat ovat ystävällisiä. Huoneistossa on ilmastointi ja merinäköala.
  
  What could be improved: Siivousta oli joka toinen tai kolmas päivä, mutta saimme kyllä puhtaat pyyhkeet ja vessapaperia. Vuodevaatteita ei vaihdettu ja hiekka piti siivota itse lattioilta. Keittiö oli rempallaan ja kulunut. Ilmastointia ei pystynyt säätämään.

  Lokacija je odlična . 10 min maksimalno do plaže. Blizina Budve , šetnja uz celu plažu od Bečića do Budve ( STARI GRAD)

  Obwohl wir als Paar gebucht hatten, wurden uns zwei getrennte Betten in einem Zimmer zugeteilt – absolut ungeeignet und unkomfortabel. Der Parkplatz war eine Katastrophe: Obwohl ich zwei Monate im Voraus mitgeteilt hatte, dass ich mit dem Auto anreise, wurde kein regulärer Parkplatz reserviert. Stattdessen wurden wir zu einer Art „Garage“ geschickt, die eher einer verlassenen Baustelle als einem sicheren Stellplatz glich. Beim Einparken habe ich mein Auto beschädigt, da die Einfahrt extrem eng und unpassend war.
  
  Die Person, die uns dorthin führte (russischer Herkunft), war extrem aggressiv, sprach ausschließlich Russisch und zeigte keinerlei Bereitschaft zur Kommunikation – weder auf Englisch noch auf Serbisch/Kroatisch.
  
  Der Weg zur Unterkunft war gefährlich: unbefestigt, voller loser Steine. Ich bin gestürzt, habe mir den Fuß verstaucht und mein Handy beschädigt – trotz Vorsicht.
  
  Besonders inakzeptabel war, dass mir die Garagenschlüssel nicht übergeben wurden. Ich wurde gezwungen, das Auto stehen zu lassen und mich zu Fuß zu bewegen – obwohl es keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe gab. Jedes Mal, wenn ich das Auto benutzen wollte, musste ich den „Garagenöffner“ anrufen und oft über 30 Minuten warten.
  
  Am Abreisetag (Checkout um 09:30 Uhr) wurde mein Auto blockiert, und ich konnte es nicht herausfahren.
  Diese Person hätte mir klar sagen können, dass ich noch warten soll, bis das andere Auto wegfährt und meine Ausfahrt frei wird – aber er hat es absichtlich nicht gesagt, nur damit ich früher abreise und er neue Gäste ins Apartment bringen kann.
  Aus diesem Grund konnte ich mein Auto nicht rechtzeitig aus der Garage holen und musste bis 13:30 Uhr warten, bis der Weg wieder frei war. Niemand zeigte Verständnis – das Verhalten war manipulativ und respektlos.

  Lokacija je okej kaj se tice blizine plaze. Dobis veliki rucnik za palzu to je bilo super. Pogled je uredu.
  
  What could be improved: Bucno, vruce, klima radi ali nema pomicanje ventilatora i stalno puse u 1 tocku pa se smrznes kod spavanja. Kreveti su jako neudobrni ako spavas dulje od 2 noci kičma krene jako boliti. Vruce je stalno u sobi ako nema klimu upaljenu.
