Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Felicia Apartments? The location is actually brilliant – Petrovačka 10 puts you right in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the Old Town buzz but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. I mean, anyone who’s been to Budva in July knows how crazy the main strip gets, but here you’re tucked into this quieter residential pocket that honestly feels more like how locals live.
The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d want for a proper Montenegro stay – clean, functional, and refreshingly unpretentious. The owners clearly get that travelers want space to spread out and maybe grab groceries from the market (there’s a decent one about a five-minute walk toward the center, by the way). What I really appreciated was how everything just worked – the Wi-Fi didn’t cut out every ten minutes, the shower had proper water pressure, and the little kitchen setup meant I could make coffee without having to hunt down an overpriced café every morning. The balconies are small but perfect for that evening drink when you’re trying to decide whether to hit the beach bars or just call it a night.
Honestly, the 10-star rating makes sense once you spend a few days there. It’s not fancy – this is a solid 3-star place that knows exactly what it is – but there’s something refreshing about a property that just delivers on the basics without trying to be something it’s not. The walk to Slovenska Beach takes maybe eight minutes if you don’t get distracted by the little bakeries along the way (and you will), while the Old Town walls are close enough that you can easily wander over for dinner without feeling like you need to plan your whole evening around transportation. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season – well, parking anywhere in Budva can be tricky – but the neighborhood streets usually have spots if you’re willing to walk an extra block or two. I’d definitely come back, especially if I was planning to stay more than just a quick weekend and actually wanted to settle in somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room.
To book a hotel in Budva during peak Mediterranean season, travelers need early planning as this coastal gem draws visitors eager to experience its pristine beaches and historic old town.
