Honestly, when I first heard “2-floor penthouse,” I was expecting something a bit pretentious – you know, all marble and attitude. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. The moment you step inside, those views just hit you. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels with “stunning views” that turned out to be a parking lot and maybe a slice of sky, but this is the real deal. The windows are massive, floor-to-ceiling things that make you feel like you’re floating above everything.

The two-floor layout is what really makes it work, though. Downstairs you’ve got your main living area – and it’s actually spacious, not just hotel-room-with-a-couch spacious. There’s this great spot by the windows where I ended up having coffee every morning, just watching the city wake up. The kitchen isn’t just for show either; I mean, you can actually cook in it if you want to skip room service (though honestly, the room service here is pretty solid). Upstairs is where things get interesting – the bedroom has this loft-like feel, and there’s something about being up there that makes the whole place feel like your own private tower. The bathroom up there is ridiculous in the best way, with a soaking tub positioned so you can still catch those views while you’re in it.

What really got me was the attention to detail – like, the lighting actually works properly (you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong), and there’s enough outlets in sensible places so you’re not doing acrobatics to charge your phone. The place stays surprisingly quiet too, even though you’re clearly in the heart of things based on those views. Check-in was smooth, no waiting around in some cramped lobby. The staff seemed to actually know the property well, which isn’t always a given with these unique spaces. Look, it’s not cheap – this is definitely a splurge kind of place – but if you’re celebrating something special or just want to feel like you own a piece of the skyline for a few nights, it’s worth it. The views alone are worth the price of admission, but it’s everything else – the space, the thoughtful layout, the way it actually feels like a home rather than just a fancy hotel room – that makes it stick with you.

  The apartment completely matches the pictures. Everything was clean. The host was pleasant. The apartment is spacious. The internet works well.
  
  What could be improved: For us, it wasn't a problem, but keep in mind that the apartment is on a hill and requires a climb.
