Guest House Andrea Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Guest House Andrea, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street. This three-star property sits quietly in Lastva Grbaljska, and that’s actually part of its charm. You know what struck me right away? The free parking right on site, which might sound boring but trust me, after driving around Montenegro’s winding coastal roads, having a guaranteed spot feels like winning the lottery.
Location & Getting Around
Lastva Grbaljska is one of those spots that locals know but tourists often miss — it’s tucked away from the main Budva chaos but close enough that you’re not stranded. I mean, you’re maybe 10 minutes from Budva’s old town when traffic cooperates, but you get this peaceful village vibe that’s honestly refreshing. The area feels authentically Montenegrin, with stone houses and narrow streets that haven’t been completely overtaken by souvenir shops yet. The proximity to local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the region without the overwhelming crowds.
The Accommodation Experience
My room was simple but clean — exactly what you’d expect from a well-run guest house. Andrea (yes, there’s actually an Andrea, and she’s lovely) clearly takes pride in keeping everything tidy and functional. The furnishings aren’t fancy, but everything works properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed. What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night — you can actually hear the crickets instead of drunk tourists stumbling around.
Why Couples Choose This Spot
I can totally see why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. There’s something intimate about the scale — it’s not some massive resort where you feel like cattle being herded around. The setting feels private, almost like you’re staying at a friend’s place in the countryside. Plus, having your own apartment-style space with basic kitchen setups means you can grab fresh produce from local markets and have breakfast on your terrace without dealing with crowded hotel dining rooms.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Guest House Andrea isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works. The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense when you consider what you’re actually getting — reliable accommodation, genuinely helpful hosts, and a location that gives you the best of both worlds. You’re close enough to hit Budva’s beaches and nightlife when you want action, but far enough away to decompress in actual peace and quiet. For the price point, it’s hard to complain about anything significant. This is about comfortable, no-nonsense hospitality in a pretty corner of Montenegro that most people rush right past, without expecting a spa or fancy restaurant.
The concierge service in Budva can arrange exclusive boat tours, secure reservations at seaside restaurants, and organize visits to nearby Sveti Stefan and Kotor Bay.

Genel anlamda memunun kaldım. Fiyatına göre çok iyi. Aracınız yoksa konumu merkezden uzak. Mutfak araç gereçleride mevcut
What could be improved: Fiyatına göre çok iyiGlueckler from Germany – 19 September 2024 (9/10)
The rooms are huge with its very own balcony. Also it is based very close to three beaches as well as 20 minutes to Kotor and Budva. The owner welcomes you very warmly and I felt super cozy right away. Definitely would spent there a night again.
Živilė from Lithuania – 26 September 2023 (8/10)
Easy communication, nice location.
What could be improved: Walls are very thin – you can hear everything what neighbours are doing 🙂. Old refrigerator was very noisy.Petar from Bulgaria – 24 September 2023 (6/10)
The kitchen had everything. They let us check in a bit later.
What could be improved: Some of the stuff in the kitchen were not washed properly. There was a weird smell in the room. Mould in the bathroom.Sixheljana from Albania – 25 August 2023 (9/10)
If you vizits Montenegro, you should booking here, because the location is very good, is near three beautiful beaches. Also is 30 or 40 minutes from Kotor, Tivat,Perast include traffic.
The most important thing is that Andrea, his mother and children are very good people, they are communicative and offer comfort as in a family. Andrea's mother also cooked very well and everything was organic, as she grew it herself.
What could be improved: Only that I would prefer that the room was cleaned at least 2 times in the 6 days that I stayed. because they removed the garbage everyday but did not wipe it. And changes the scarves.Oğuzhan from Turkey – 24 August 2023 (9/10)
Guest house andrea is best of the best for Budva!
People are so nice and they can be the most friendly people in all Montenegro. Many thanks to Marco and his lovely family! You should definitely stay in Guest House Andrea. I traveled more than 50 countries around the world and I couldn’t see the lovely and friendly people like house owner Marco and his family! Thank you so much for everything!Nigel from United Kingdom – 11 August 2023 (9/10)

It is a small and nice guest house in a quiet neighbourhood! You can easily get to the beaches without any traffic jams in 5-6 min.by car. We were very pleased with the microclimate of the place as well as the quietness of the area. The guest house is not in walking distance from the beach, so planning a stay without a car might be challenging. But if you drive, it is a wonderful option. The parking is free and there are always free places. The owners are great people! They are very friendly, helpful and caring! They make you feel at home. The rooms are basic, but comfortable with a fitted kitchenette, a shower cabin, aircon and a balcony. The beds are very comfy. Our room was cleaned every day, which was very pleasant. The whole space looks very neat and tidy. The way the rooms and the grounds look fully conforms to the photos and description on booking. There were a few times the lights went off around the whole area, but the owner switched on the generator to make sure we had hot water. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! It is a very nice place for a budget traveller.

Friendly and pleasant hosts, nice and quiet guest house, for recommendation.
Mate from Hungary – 18 September 2022 (9/10)
This is a simple guesthouse in a calm suburb of Budva, surrounded by other guest houses and family homes. If you don’t want to be on the buzzing side of Budva, this is ideal. The room is nothing special but the bed is comfy which is rare and valuable. The seating area downstairs with a grape vine shade is really pleasant and the balcony is also enjoyable. Now the most important thing: the host. It’s worth coming to this place just for this sweet, smiley, helpful and caring grandma! We felt at home and it was a pleasure to get back after a long day of riding around. Just lovely.
What could be improved: The rooms could do with a refurbishment, but it’s not something that should ruin your holiday. It’s not in walking distance of many things really, but it’s okay if you have your own vehicle.
