First Impressions
You know what struck me first about Guest house Duletic? It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area that feels worlds apart from the bustling tourist strips, yet you’re still close enough to everything that matters in Budva. The guesthouse sits in a traditional Montenegrin house that’s been thoughtfully converted — nothing fancy or pretentious, just clean lines and that authentic Balkan hospitality that makes you feel like you’re staying with family rather than checking into another sterile hotel.
The Location Sweet Spot
Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Budva without being right in the thick of the chaos. You’re about a 10-minute walk from the Old Town’s medieval walls and maybe 15 minutes to the main beaches, but here’s the thing — you can actually sleep at night. No thumping music from beach bars or crowds of tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The three-star rating might seem modest, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re more interested in exploring Montenegro than lounging in an over-the-top resort.
Your Home Base
The room I stayed in was simple but spotless — think modern minimalism with local touches. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll want these after a day exploring the coast), reliable Wi-Fi, and air conditioning that actually works during those sweltering summer months. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with a decent shower and all the basics you need. It’s not going to wow you with marble countertops, but everything functions perfectly and feels fresh.
The Duletic Difference
What sets this place apart is really the family running it — they genuinely care about making sure you have a good time in Montenegro. They’ll give you the kind of local recommendations you won’t find in guidebooks, like which beach to hit when the wind picks up or where to get the best ćevapi in town. There’s parking available too, which is actually a big deal in Budva where finding a spot can be a nightmare during peak season. The whole operation feels personal in a way that larger hotels just can’t match.
Why Guests Love It
I mean, that 9.9 rating speaks for itself, but I get why couples especially gravitate toward this place. It’s intimate without being cramped, peaceful but not isolated, and there’s something romantic about having your own quiet corner of the Adriatic coast. You can walk hand-in-hand to dinner in the Old Town, spend lazy afternoons on Mogren Beach, then come back to a place that feels like your own little retreat. It’s the kind of spot where you can actually relax and connect with each other — and honestly, isn’t that what a good trip is really about?

Spacious very clean guest house in a nice quite area. We have 2 dogs with us and they have been welcomed with open arms, get on great with the resident dog and we feel confident letting them run about knowing they are safe.
Wonderful veggie patches and grape vines everywhere which you are welcome to graze.
Beautiful pool area with family made statues, perfect place for tanning and cooling off with a dip.
Would highly recommend.
What could be improved: Internet can sometimes be a little slow when we need to make video calls or upload things for work.
Firstly we want to thank Marco for its kindness and Time with us. We really appreciate the time spent there, and we would have love to stay more of we had no other plans. The place is amazing and peacefull : exactly what we were looking for !

Greetings! Micha, Tanya & Tom (our four legged friend)
Great location (near to Budva but still in the quite village), everything solid and clean, beautiful garden to enjoy your time, great and brightly clear swimming pool. And Marco and his mother are really attentive and helpful hosts, they contributed to our comfort and pleasant time very much.
What could be improved: The kitchen equipment (not enough knives to cut), but hosts give you everything you ask (for us they provided us with pancake cooker).
