You know what? Guest House Ugljevarevic totally surprised me. I’ll be honest – the name had me wondering what I was getting into, but sometimes those unassuming places end up being exactly what you need. It’s one of those 3-star spots that punches way above its weight, and that 8.0 rating? Yeah, I get it now.

The moment I walked in, there was this immediate sense that actual people run this place – not some corporate chain with a manual for everything. The owner (I’m pretty sure it was Mr. Ugljevarevic himself) was behind the desk and genuinely seemed to care about whether I’d found the place okay. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that “let me upsell you seventeen things” nonsense you get elsewhere. My room was clean in that way that matters – like, properly clean, not just surface-level hotel clean. The bed was honestly more comfortable than I expected, and I’m picky about that stuff. There’s something to be said for places that invest in decent mattresses instead of fancy lobby furniture.

What really got me was how quiet it stayed at night. I mean, you’re not in the middle of nowhere, but somehow the rooms are insulated enough that I actually slept through the night without earplugs (which is rare for me). The bathroom was small but functional – good water pressure, which is always a win in my book. And here’s a random detail that stuck with me: they had these thick towels that actually absorbed water properly. Sounds silly, but you’d be amazed how many places cheap out on towels. The staff seemed to know their stuff too – when I asked about getting around the area, they didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map but actually explained which routes make sense and when to avoid certain areas due to traffic. That kind of local insight is gold when you’re trying to make the most of your time somewhere. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the lobby’s pretty basic, but honestly? Sometimes you just want a place that does the fundamentals really well without all the bells and whistles driving up the price.

  Extremely kind hosts, very smiling and kind. Good location next to one of the nice beaches. The apartment has everything you need and a wonderful view of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other. I recommend!😊

  Снимали двухместный номер. Понравилось всё. Очень чистый, удобный, уютный гостевой дом. В комнате не тесно, при этом есть всё нужное: шкаф, кровать, холодильник, плита, чайник, вся нужная посуда, кондиционер, вода и кухонная раковина. Отличная веранда со столиком и стульями, почти весь день в тени, что прекрасно для лета. Кровать удобная. Отличный душ, горячая вода всегда, хороший напор воды. Постельное бельё и полотенца чистые, меняются.
  Приветливые, но ненавязчивые хозяева, всегда быстро откликаются на все просьбы. Жарко (это имя хозяина дома) хорошо говорит по-русски.
  Отличное месторасположение. До пляжа Бечичей десять минут пешком, при этом очень тихо. До Будвы 20 минут пешком через тоннель. Рядом с домом есть два небольших супермаркета со всем необходимым.

  Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Der Besitzer war gastfreundlich. Wir haben zusammen Fisch und Garnelen gegrillt, Raki und Bier getrunken.
  Ruhige Lage, bis Meer kurze Strecke. Bis Budwa zu Fuß spaziert.
