First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Guesthouse P&A, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “fancy hotel” from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard. This three-star guesthouse sits quietly in Budva, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it. The free parking right on-site was actually a huge relief — anyone who’s tried to find a spot in Budva’s old town during summer knows exactly what I mean.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s the thing about location in Budva — you either pay through the nose to be right in the chaos of the old town, or you end up somewhere that requires a taxi for everything. Guesthouse P&A hits that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the action but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. I mean, couples are rating the location 8.9 out of 10, and honestly, I get it. You can stroll to Slovenska Beach in about ten minutes, and the old town is totally walkable when you want that medieval fortress vibe.
The Room Experience
My room was clean and comfortable — nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed in Montenegro. The air conditioning actually cooled the space (crucial in July), and the Wi-Fi didn’t cut out every five minutes. Look, this isn’t a design hotel, but the beds are decent and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bathroom was small but functional, with good water pressure — honestly, that’s all I really need after a day of exploring.
Breakfast and Daily Rhythms
The continental breakfast is pretty standard fare — think fresh bread, local cheese, some cold cuts, and decent coffee. Nothing fancy, but it’ll fuel you up for a day of beach-hopping or wandering around the Budva Riviera. What I appreciated was that they didn’t rush you through it, and the staff was genuinely friendly without being overly chatty at 8 AM. You can sit outside on nice mornings, which is actually quite pleasant when the Mediterranean breeze kicks in.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.3 rating isn’t an accident — this place just works. The owners clearly care about the basics: clean rooms, reliable service, and treating guests like actual people rather than walking wallets. It’s the kind of spot where you feel comfortable asking for restaurant recommendations or directions, and you’ll get honest answers. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having a quiet base where you can regroup between Budva’s beaches and nightlife. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but you’re getting solid value in a town where tourist traps are everywhere.
Hotels in Budva offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this Adriatic paradise, with easy access to beaches, historical sites, and entertainment venues.

What Our Guests Say
Exceptional host, very welcoming and helpful. Calm and quiet location, thank you!
Room size is massive and extra single bed! 👍
Spacious room, well appointed and very clean.
amazing place, nice owners, delicious breakfast,
Very good hosts! Very beautiful pool! Thank you!
Very nice host very helpful
What could be improved: Big room very clean and tidy
The views are extraordinary, especially from the pool. The hosts are extremely nice. They live on the other side of the house and made themselves happily available for anything that would make our stay better. We really liked their attitude.
What could be improved: The shower does not have a door so the bathroom get filled with water if you are not careful. There are a ton of mosquitoes (not the host's fault obviously), so be sure to pack mosquito spray. If you plan on using the pool, especially around sunset hour when the views are the best, it's best to have water resistant repellent. I got very ugly bites on my face because our spray was not water resistant.
The pool and view were great!
Helping host and cute balcony☺️
What could be improved: A little bit far away from supermarket and grocery store
The owner of Guesthouse is very kind. We are in love with the peace and calmness of this property. If we can stay on a holiday forever it would be this place because of the awesome sunsets above the mountains with our own clean swimming pool.
Very helpfully host, great location, clean room, nice swimming pool.
What could be improved: It was just perfect
