Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from Villa Gaga when I first pulled up – the name alone had me wondering what I’d gotten myself into. But you know what? Sometimes the places with quirky names turn out to be the most memorable, and that’s exactly what happened here.

This little guesthouse has this wonderfully lived-in feel that immediately puts you at ease. The owner clearly has an eye for mixing comfort with character – there are these gorgeous vintage touches throughout that feel intentional rather than just old. I mean, the common areas have this warm, almost bohemian vibe with plenty of places to actually relax (not those stiff lobby chairs you see everywhere). The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully arranged, though I’ll be honest, don’t expect huge spaces. What they lack in size they make up for in charm, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I actually slept better here than I have at some fancier places.

What really struck me was how genuine the hospitality felt. The staff – well, it’s more like a small family operation – seem to actually care about making your stay pleasant rather than just checking boxes. They gave me some solid local recommendations that weren’t the obvious tourist traps, which I always appreciate. The breakfast situation is simple but done right, with fresh ingredients and that homemade quality you can actually taste. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone but instead does a few things really well. The common spaces tend to get lively in the evenings with a good mix of travelers, so if you’re the type who likes meeting people, you’ll probably enjoy that energy. If you prefer total quiet, just heads up that the walls aren’t super thick. Parking was easier than I expected, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no complicated key cards or confusing procedures. For a 3-star place, Villa Gaga punches well above its weight in terms of creating an experience rather than just providing a bed. It’s got that sweet spot quality where you feel like you’re getting insider access to somewhere special rather than just passing through another generic accommodation.

  Staff was polite
  
  What could be improved: Even marked as pet friendly, it’s not recomended to leave pet alone 1 or 2 h alone becouse other guests would complain on barking which is caused by constant slaming doors and noise from other rooms and pet became scared of constant sounds from other guests. We left room 3 days earlier to avoid unpleasent atmosphere and got small % od refund. As addition, below avarege furniture quality and amortized, bathroom and shower are to small.
