You know what surprised me most about Holiday Home Olive Tree? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there – there’s this gorgeous old olive tree right in the courtyard that’s probably been there longer than any of us have been alive. I mean, when I first heard the name, I thought it was just another one of those generic “nature-y” hotel names, but honestly, the whole place feels like it grew up around that tree.

The thing is, this isn’t your typical 4-star hotel experience. It’s more like staying at your incredibly well-connected friend’s place – you know, the one who somehow always knows the best spots and has impeccable taste. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that feels authentic rather than staged. My room had these beautiful worn wooden floors that creaked just slightly when you walked barefoot to the bathroom at night (in a charming way, not annoying), and the linens were the kind that get softer with every wash. Actually, I ended up asking where they got their pillows because I slept better there than I have in months.

What really sets this place apart – and maybe why it’s got that incredible 9.8 rating – is how the staff treats you. They’re not hovering or overly formal, but somehow they always seem to show up exactly when you need something. The woman at the front desk (I think her name was Maria?) knew I was heading out early for a meeting and had coffee ready at 6:30 AM without me even asking. Small touches like that, you know? And the breakfast – well, let’s just say I discovered what fresh olive oil actually tastes like when it’s drizzled over warm bread that’s still steaming from the oven. They source everything locally, which you can definitely taste, and the tomatoes were so good I actually asked if I could buy some to take home.

The location works really well too, though you’ll want to know it’s more residential than touristy. It’s quiet – like, genuinely quiet, not “quiet except for the construction next door” quiet – and there’s something really peaceful about sitting under that olive tree with an evening drink. Parking was easier than I expected, and honestly, after staying in places where you’re fighting for street spots or paying ridiculous garage fees, that felt like a luxury in itself. If I had one tiny complaint, it’s that the WiFi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s online, but honestly? It kind of forced me to actually relax and read the book I’d been carrying around for months. Sometimes these little inconveniences end up being gifts.

  Уютный домик с прекрасным местоположением. Хозяин согласился показать дом до заезда, был отзывчив и приятен. На кухне было много посуды и все необходимое, газовая и электрическая плита, два холодильника. Чистое постельное белье и полотенца. Отличный вай-фай и место для парковки двух автомобилей
