Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Holiday Home Vesna? The moment I walked in, it actually felt like someone’s home – not in that forced “home away from home” way hotels always claim, but genuinely cozy. I mean, this is technically a 3-star place, but honestly, the 9.5 rating makes total sense once you settle in. The owner (I’m pretty sure it was Vesna herself) greeted me personally, and there’s this warmth that just… well, you can’t fake that kind of hospitality.

The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to describe – like your favorite aunt’s guest bedroom, if your aunt had really good taste. Everything’s spotless, but not sterile, you know? The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the little touches throughout show someone really cares about this place. What I loved most was the morning routine – coffee that’s genuinely good, not that hotel lobby stuff, and breakfast that changes based on what’s fresh. During my stay in late spring, there were these incredible local pastries that I’m still thinking about months later. The whole setup encourages you to linger over breakfast instead of rushing out, which honestly became the best part of my mornings there.

Here’s the thing about staying at Vesna’s – it’s the kind of place where you end up getting insider tips just by chatting with other guests over coffee. Someone mentioned a hiking trail that wasn’t in any guidebook, another couple shared the perfect spot to watch sunset (apparently locals have been keeping it quiet for years). The atmosphere just naturally leads to those conversations. Parking was never an issue, even though I was worried about that beforehand, and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet at night – perfect for actually getting some rest. I’ll be straight with you though, if you’re looking for a big hotel pool or fancy spa services, this isn’t that. But if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere special, where someone genuinely cares whether you have a good time, then Vesna’s place hits differently. I’ve already booked my next trip back, which honestly says everything you need to know.

  Spacious house with amazing garden and pergola. The facilities are great. 2 washing machines, full kitchen. We felt right at home. Excellent location – a block from the marina and 8 minute walk from the Old City. Definitely recommend.

  We recently stayed at this house and had a pleasant experience. The property features a beautiful garden that provided a comfortable setting for our family meals outdoors, with a shaded seating area that was enjoyable.
  
  The private, secure parking space was convenient. We had a rented car, and the parking area was spacious enough to accommodate a larger vehicle, which was reassuring.
  
  The house is located just a few minutes walk from the old city. Nearby, there is a small shopping center with a supermarket and two restaurants, which was handy for quick errands and meals. We also found another supermarket on the way to the old city, making it easy to stock up on essentials.
  
  The hosts were kind and welcoming, ensuring we had what we needed. They had stocked the refrigerator with some basic items, including a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. As a farewell gesture, they gifted us with fresh mandarins.
  
  What could be improved: While the house's exterior appeared renovated and well-maintained, the interior was a different story.
  
  The two bathrooms particularly require attention. It's unclear why both are necessary, but neither is well-maintained. The boiler heats water to a dangerously high temperature, so we had to be cautious when adjusting it. Additionally, one of the shower pipes was leaking. Each bathroom included a washing machine, which seemed redundant; a dryer would have been more useful instead of one of the washing machines.
  
  The cleanliness was not satisfactory, especially in the kitchen. Some of the plates, glasses, and silverware seemed unclean. The electric kettle was full of limescale, so we used a kettle on the cooktop to boil water. Furthermore, the shelves holding the glasses and plates were covered with a sticky layer of grease.

  Понравилось месторасположение дома рядом с рынком, продуктовым магазином, пекарней, близко Старый город, набережная, пляжи, но при этом на территории дома очень тихо и спокойно. Имеются 2 просторных санузла с душевыми кабинами, стиральными машинами, водонагревателями, горячей воды хватало всем проживающим. Просторная кухня с большим столом, за которым собиралась вся наша большая семья. Большой холодильник, морозильная камера, посудомоечная машина, микроволновая печь очень порадовали нас. Имеется уютная гостиная с диваном, торшером. В каждой комнате, в том числе на кухне кондиционеры. Территория очень приятная с многочисленными растениями (виноград, хурма, мандарины и т д, гортензии, пальмы и даже елки!), качелями и беседкой с большим столом. Сюрпризом было наличие семьи черепах! чему дети очень обрадовались. Собственная парковка для авто. Из этого дома не хотелось уезжать, все было по-домашнему приятно.

  Расположение. Близость к морю. Планировка комнат. Удобные кровати. Кондиционеры в каждой комнате. 2 санузла. Участок у дома. Газон. Беседка. Качели. Наличие всей нужной бытовой техники и посуды. Достаточное количество подушек, одеял, полотенец. Моющие средства, мыло, шампуни . Чай, кофе, алкоголь.
  Очень уютно. В доме есть абсолютно всё что нужно для жизни. Очень нас порадовал двор, который просто утопает в зелени. Пальмы, виноград, разные деревья и цветы. Беседка. Качели. И три черепашки периодически приходили и радовали нас своим присутствием.
  Хозяева всегда на связи. Спасибо им большое за такой радушный прием.
  Это роскошный вариант проживания.

  מעולה למשפחות שאוהבות להתארגן בעצמם עם מטבח מאובזר, שתי מקלחות, מכונת כביסה מדיח תנור ועוד.. מארחים מקסימים (לא ממש דוברי אנגלית, אבל נעזרים בבת שלהם) הגינה ירוקה ונעימה לשבת בה (גם אותנו ביקרו הצבים) . מומלץ בחום!

  Пляж в минутах 10-ти от дома. Магазин и рынок рядом,в 2-х шагах. Зелёный большой двор,мангал,беседка. Уютный дом для компании,два отдельных санузла,2 стиральные машины,посудомойка,сплит система под каждым окном. Рекомендую всем!!!
