Hotel Admiral
You know what struck me first about Hotel Admiral?
You know what struck me first about Hotel Admiral? The lobby actually feels like a place you’d want to hang out, not just rush through to get to your room. There’s this really nice mix of classic maritime touches – think brass fixtures and deep navy accents – without going overboard with the nautical theme. I mean, nobody wants to feel like they’re sleeping inside a boat, right? The front desk staff seemed genuinely happy to help when I was asking about good coffee spots nearby, which honestly tells you a lot about a place.
The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid four-star – nothing revolutionary, but everything works the way it should. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many hotels mess this up), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which is always a win in my book. I stayed on the fifth floor and it was pretty quiet, though I imagine the street-facing rooms might pick up some noise during busy periods. The Wi-Fi was reliable enough for video calls, and there are plenty of outlets near the desk area – small things that make a difference when you’re trying to get work done.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between professional service and not being stuffy about it. The concierge gave me directions to this little bakery that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook, and when I had an early checkout, they sorted out my bill the night before without me even asking. It’s the kind of place where you feel like they’re paying attention without hovering. The restaurant downstairs serves a solid breakfast – nothing fancy, but the coffee’s strong and they don’t rush you out if you want to sit and plan your day. I actually ended up grabbing dinner there one night when I was too tired to venture out, and the fish was surprisingly good.
Look, with an 8.6 rating, you’re not getting a bargain basement experience, but you’re also not paying premium prices for marble everything and a doorman in a top hat. It’s dependable hospitality done well – the sort of hotel you’d book again without thinking twice about it, especially if you value getting decent sleep and straightforward service over flashy amenities you’ll probably never use anyway.
To book a hotel in Budva during peak Mediterranean season, travelers need early planning as this coastal gem draws visitors eager to experience its pristine beaches and historic old town.

What Our Guests Say
Good breakfast, clean rooms, lovely staff
What could be improved: No lift
Location, staff, breakfast and restaurant are all good! Friendly and clean, food is good and plenty of choice both for breakfast and the restaurant! Location is within walking distance of the beach and other facilities. Parking on site is a big plus and the hotel is modern and has nice atmosphere
What could be improved: Our room was it seems above the kitchen, sometimes it was super warm and other moments not, even with the AC in the room it was hard to control a constant temperature in the room!
Really friendly and approachable staff. Breakfast every morning was great. We also got an upgrade which was a lovely surprise and enjoyed our balcony!
What could be improved: The double bed was twin beds put together - the two mattresses always separated which which was a bit annoying for a couple sharing a bed.
Modern, comfy hotel in a great location in Budva with reasonably priced parking (a big bonus). Good breakfast included.
What could be improved: None
Loved everything about the hotel - if you prefer a small boutique hotel where small details matter, you will love this hotel. Amazing staff and breakfast, everything was very high quality.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quite spacious. The best part was the swimming pool area and good breakfast with multiple options.
I loved everything about this hotel!! The staff are so friendly, Vlado was so kind and helpful. This place is even better than the photos. The breakfast area is gorgeous and so clean and tidy and lots of variety. It’s in a great location close to beach and centre. The aesthetic is gorgeous and modern and the rooms a little small but not a big deal at all. Great value for money, would stay here again
What could be improved: Nothing!
The staff was very kind and responsive.

What could be improved: I don’t think I have any negatives
Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Close to the beach and the bus stop.
