You know what struck me first about Hotel Bella Vista? The name actually delivers – there really is a bella vista, and it’s not just marketing fluff. When I walked into the lobby, I could see why this place earned its 4-star rating and that solid 8.1 from guests who’ve actually stayed here. The reception area has this warm, lived-in elegance that feels authentic rather than stuffy, with marble floors that somehow don’t echo when you walk across them (trust me, as someone who’s stayed in way too many hotels with clickety-clack lobbies, this matters).

The staff here – honestly, they seem to actually enjoy their jobs, which you can tell immediately. Check-in was smooth, and I mean genuinely smooth, not that rushed efficiency you get at chain places where they’re already looking past you to the next guest. The rooms themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully updated” – they’ve clearly put money into renovations recently, but they didn’t go overboard with trendy nonsense that’ll look dated in two years. The beds are proper comfortable (firm but not rock-hard), and the bathrooms have those rain showerheads that actually work well, plus decent water pressure. Small thing, but the outlets are positioned where you’d actually want to charge your phone, not hidden behind the headboard like some designer’s afterthought.

What really sets Bella Vista apart, though, is the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living in a space for a few days. The blackout curtains block light completely – I’m talking cave-dark, which is gold if you’re dealing with jet lag or just want to sleep in. The AC runs quiet, and the walls are thick enough that you won’t hear your neighbors’ entire phone conversations (learned this the hard way at other places). Breakfast is served until a reasonable hour, not some ridiculous 9 AM cutoff when you’re on vacation. The coffee’s actually good too, proper espresso, not that burnt stuff from a machine that’s been sitting there since morning. Parking’s available on-site, though it fills up during peak season, so I’d suggest mentioning you need a spot when you book. The whole place has this relaxed confidence – they know they’re doing things right without needing to announce it every five minutes. It’s the kind of hotel where you settle in easily and don’t spend your stay wishing you were somewhere else.

  Yes. The breakfast and dinner were perfect. There is a good choice of dishes, especially vegetables, sausages, cheeses, and other kind of meats. Everything was fresh and tasty. The restaurant staff is very attentive, responsive, and friendly. They clear tables every time, help tourists to navigate the menu, and add dishes if something is finishing There is a good choice of drinks: many juices and wines on the bar. The good news was having a small private kitchen in the number.
  
  What could be improved: Shot menu for children and lack of simple garnishes like porridge or anything else. Small portions of coffee and lack of my favorite late. Sometimes we thought that food was full of spices and overloaded with oil.

  The staffs were really helpfull and kind. The whole hotel, the restaurant and the romms were always clean.
  
  What could be improved: Although there is fix dinner period, once we arrived half an hour before closing time and there was nothing to eat, and they started to prepare for the breakfast. If something runs out on the sidebord they just hardly refill and not everithing. In the bar draft beer wasn't available during the whole week.

  Breakfast was ok, pretty extensive buffet and fresh. Don't be silly to get half board included, dinner is more of a mockery. I appreciated that of the little they offered, at least it was fresh and I didn't get any food poisoning.
  
  What could be improved: I'll be very subjective. This hotel although it bills itself as 4 star, is clearly 3 star with a little indulgence.
  I will mention a few things that it could never be a 4 star: the shower was outdated, chipped tiles in the bathroom, no sheets were changed at all during our stay, a rickety air conditioner I could hardly turn on. Don't make the mistake of paying extra money for "sea view". Nonsense. The sea view is almost completely covered by the construction site in front of the hotel where the giant hotels are being built. What's more, the "sea view" is also towards the boulevard, where thousands of cars pass every day. Obviously quite a lot of noise. Context I paid 905 euro for 5 nights, in the off season and can't say I got anything except parking. Food was enough not to starve, sun lounger and umbrella another price, drinks another price. The most annoying thing was that without "little attentions" no one looked at you. Moreover, at dinner we were not even offered a glass of water even though we paid for accommodation and 2 meals with almost 200 euro per day. And as I said, very modest accommodation too. In no case 4 stars. Maybe 20 years ago, when there was a sea view..
