You know what’s funny about Hotel Bono? I walked past it three times before I realized this was actually my hotel – and I mean that in the best possible way. There’s something refreshingly understated about the place that immediately sets it apart from those flashy chain hotels that scream “tourist trap” from a mile away. The entrance has this quiet confidence, like it doesn’t need to show off because it knows exactly what it’s doing. And honestly, after staying there, I get why it’s pulling a 9.3 rating – that’s not the kind of score you get by accident.

The thing that really struck me (and I’m someone who’s stayed in way too many hotels over the years) is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between polished and personal. The lobby actually feels like a place you’d want to hang out, not just rush through to get to your room. I ended up chatting with the front desk staff for probably twenty minutes during check-in – not because there were problems, but because they genuinely seemed interested in making sure I knew about the good coffee place around the corner and which metro line would get me where I needed to go fastest. You don’t get that kind of attention at most four-star places, trust me. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed – everything you need is exactly where you’d expect it to be, and the bed situation is seriously on point. I’m talking about that perfect firmness where you actually wake up feeling rested instead of like you wrestled with the mattress all night.

What really sold me on this place, though, was the morning routine. I’m usually that person who grabs coffee and runs, but something about the breakfast setup made me want to actually sit and ease into the day. Maybe it’s because the dining area gets this amazing natural light, or maybe it’s because the coffee doesn’t taste like it came from a machine that’s been running since 2015. Either way, I found myself lingering over breakfast in a way I normally never do when I’m traveling. The whole vibe just encourages you to slow down a bit – which, let’s be honest, is exactly what you want from a hotel. Look, I’ve stayed in places that cost twice as much and delivered half the experience, so when you find somewhere like Hotel Bono that’s clearly putting thought into the details that actually matter to travelers, it’s worth paying attention to. This isn’t the kind of place you’ll forget about the minute you check out.

  Hotel is clean and well maintained. Beautiful view from the balcony. Fresh Breakfast is served in the hotel. Stuff is friendly and hospitality. Ivonna and Igor very nice, assisted with any questions.

  The staff of Bono Hotel were amazing. The receptionist upgraded our room when she saw it was my birthday. We even got a bottle of wine from the manager. They were super attentive and kind to us. If we ever visit Budva again, we will definitely go back to Bono Hotel!

  Great Personal staff, breakfast, the caramel bonbons in the reception 😊, the ability to charge my e-car was fantastic – made my day 🥰, near to supermarket, restaurants, fresh fruits shop, etc.
